I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.

A month later, Victoria and I went to visit the doctor's office and by that I mean we went to Carlisle.

I had been sick all week, vomiting and major headaches and I was getting really worried about my condition. I have never been sick before. I didn't even know I could get sick.

I was pacing around the room nervously.

"Could you stop?" Victoria whined.

The door swung open. "Ah, Gabrielle!" Carlisle said, coming in with the final results. "It seems to be that you don't have the stomach flu." He said.

"Then what does she have?" Victoria questioned impatiently.

"Congratulations, Gabrielle," Carlisle began, and I felt my stomach churn. "You're pregnant!" Alice exclaimed, walking into the room.

I swallowed. Me? Pregnant? Oh god, no. This...this can't be...this can't...

"Carlisle, how far along is she?" Victoria asked, trying to control her anger.

"About three weeks, almost a month." He stated.

"You let that mutt get you pregnant!" Victoria shouted.

"Gabrielle, are you okay?" Bella asked in a light voice, standing next to Alice. By now everyone was standing in the room staring at me.

"I'm...going to" I took a deep breath. "I'm going to be a mother. Oh my fucking god." I breathed in.

"You're getting an abortion, right?" Victoria asked.

"Shut up, Victoria." Rosalie responded.

"You can't have his baby." Victoria said.

"I'm going to keep it." I said, without a second thought.

"Then we're going to be here to help you. You're pregnancy is a unique one." Carlisle said.

"Can I decorate a nursery for you?" Alice asked as Victoria stormed out.

The next couple of weeks, I continued to throw up. I ate constantly, I had a ton of mood swings and numerous doctor appointments with Carlisle.

"Are you going to tell Paul?" Bella asked.

"Of course, I wasn't planning on keeping it from him." I answered.
