Todoroki x Reader

" I feel like a proud mother. " I said and Todoroki coughed, his face slightly red from trying to keep it all in.

" That was beautiful. A rare sight of a Todoroki laughing. " I said, smiling at him. I stopped when I shiver ran down my spine as I felt someone's presence over me. I turned around in my chair to see Deku.

" Hey, can I talk to you later? " He said softly. I gave a simple nod.

" Guess so. How about at lunch time? We can just go into the halls and talk since it seems you want this to be private. " I offered. He gave a simple nod, his green hair bouncing as he walked off to Uraraka and Iida.

I sighed and sank in my chair. I looked over at Todoroki, my [ eye color ] eyes seeming to flash at him.

" You didn't tell anyone, did you? " I said. He shook his head.

" No. As I said, I will keep this between you and I only. " He said, finally his calm self again. I nodded.

" Thank you. " I said, giving him a small smile, my cheeks pink from who knows what.

" No problem. " He said. I literally jumped when I heard Mr. Aiwaza's voice.

" Today you will be in a one on one battle with someone who's quirk contrasts yours. Some match ups won't be based off of quirks, but how they get along. Some match ups, for example, may be like Midoriya and Bakugo. They have a relationship based off of hate. Some will be like Todoroki and [ name, ] who generally work together and seem to have something between them. " Mr. Aiwaza said, and I couldn't help but to feel nervous.

It's been a few rounds, and I was up next.. Against Todoroki. Obviously Mr. Aiwaza noticed the way we work together, so he paired us. He really wasn't joking when he said he put people that got along together, and also people that hate each other.

Mineta had ended up with Momo, and Deku had ended up with Uraraka. Of course, Deku and Momo won. I heard the door to the monitoring room. I turned around, and after seeing Deku, I tackled him into a hug, which the force caused him to fall.

I toppled onto him. I patted his head wildly, smiling wider than Jeff the killer.

" You did so good! I'm so proud of youuuuu! I've seen so much improvement in you, it's insane! " I said, putting my hand on his red cheek. It was hot as a furnace. I got off of him, but only slightly, now sitting on his waist.

" What's wrong? Do you feel sick? " I said, frowning. He shook his head quickly, his fluffy, soft green hair shaking with even the slightest movement of his head.

" N-No.. Uh, could you just get off, please..?! " He said, wriggling under me. I smiled, rising off of him. He visibly sighed a breath of relief.

" Sorry! I'm sure Todoroki is waiting for me now, so I will get going! " I said and Deku got up, rubbing his nape.

" Good luck! " He said, and I gave him a quick hug, in which his face returned to bring a bright red. I ran out the door. Well.. Tried to. I ran into the door instead.

I opened the door, holding my head and waving goodbye. Deku smiled happily, waving back.

In no time, I was at the field. Todoroki stood at one end, while I stood at the other.

" Don't you dare hold back. " Todoroki said. I shook my head.

" I wouldn't! " I said, giggling and giving him a quick smile.

" You look like you wouldn't dare harm an ant right now. " Todoroki said.

" Fine.. " I said, nodding. He watched as the gentle look washed out of my eyes, the soft pink color of my cheeks draining out and leaving my skin pale.

" Okay.. Okay. Let's do this. " I said. He nodded, his face serious considering this morning.

His left side almost immediately flared up, the flames licking his pale skin. I smirked at him, my hands on my hips.

I stood there as the flames made their way to me, slithering across the ground and about to about to touch me, however I was able to teleport in the matter of seconds.

I teleported behind him. He whipped around after seeing me gone, the ground freezing under both his and my feet. The ice was brought up to my shoulders, making me shiver.

" Deku would have known I can teleport out of any situation. What a shame. " I said before returning to where I was originally.

He shot me a glare, sending wave after wave of ice towards me, which I teleported anywhere it wouldn't hit me. This repeated many times before I got a good look at him.

His arms were shaking, obviously tired out. Who knows if he was over using his quirk.

" Don't push yourself to hard. " I said, half teasing, half genuinely concerned. More ice froze the ground, coming up right in front of my face.

I frowned, teleporting in front of him, driving my fist straight into his jaw. He stumbled, falling back and hitting the ground with a loud thud. I could hear him breath heavily as I hovered over him, dropping down and sitting on his waist.

" You don't look to good. " I said, my hand on his cold, shaking arm. His left side went up into flames, destroying even more of his shirt and exposing more of his beautiful, soft sk- Oh god, I shouldn't be thinking this, but I can't help but to think of melted candyland and a side of hot Todoroki.

I teleported off of him, sighing and shaking my head as he pushed himself off of the ground, letting him send some fire towards me. I teleported behind the ice that he recently made, hiding behind it.

He eventually thought he got me and let himself take a breath, the flames on his body dying down until there was nothing left. Boy was he wrong! ( I'm so sorry I had to.. Does anyone get the reference? ) I teleported in front of him, landing a spot on kick on his balls. ( I'm tired, okay? I don't know how else to word that )

He fell to the floor again, and I couldn't help but to crouch down next to him, trying to contain my laughs.

" I'm sorry that was a dirty m- PFFFT!! " I said as he looked at me. If looks could kill, I would be dead right now. I fell into my side, covering my face and laughing.

I could hear him groan and shift, getting onto his feet. I slowly got up, grabbing his shoulders for support.

" Oh my god, Todo.. You look like you wanted to kill me. I really am sorry.. Kind of. " I said, winking. My face turned red only seconds after I realized I called him ' Todo. '

" I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, ohhh my god, I'm sorry! " I apologized over and over, Bowing down to him, my hands put together in front of my chest.

" I think I did already. " He said, gently pulling my hands apart and watching them fall to the side. My face heated up even more, if that was even possible.

" Whatever. Let's just go. " I said, pouting softly as we walked into the watching room ( still didn't know what they called it. )

" That was a dirty move.. " Deku said, soon after muttering about the whole battle. Me and Todoroki looked at each other.

" Ummm.. Yeah. I know. " I said, putting my hand over Deku's mouth to shut him up. His face turned as red as a tomato, pulling away quickly, his hands moving rapidly from behind his head to waving in front of his chest.

" Ok, ok, shhh.. " I said, backing up a little bit. He sighed, apologizing with a small smile on his face, his cheeks still a soft pink shade.

" Should I go? " Todoroki asked, pointing to the door. I looked up at him.

" Nope. Please stay. I know it's only been a couple of months knowing each other but I'm comfortable near you. " I admitted, looking off to the side.
