Mikey

I groan. I don't really want to get up, but I yawn and open my eyes anyways.

I sit up, pushing the covers off of me, and start to stretch, my eyes closing again.

I notice that my bed is hard and uncomfortable, and that there's no pillow around me.

"This isn't my..."

I stop upon seeing Andy.

Damn. I wasn't supposed to fall asleep.

I start to shake my head slowly, afraid that Andy doesn't want me here. But he looks just as worried.

"I'm so sorry!" We both say at the same time. He shakes his head.

"It's alright, I don"t mind," he tells me.

"What are you sorry for?" I furrow my eyebrows as I ask the question, a small, amused smile on my face.

"I dunno... I thought you were mad at me."

The idea is so ridiculous and I can't help but to laugh loudly, making Andy do the same. We lean into each other, my hand resting on his thigh.

When we both get our breath back, he catches my eye and we're sent into hysterics again.

By the time we're finally done laughing, I've completely forgotten what we were laughing at. But it's a nice feeling, being with Andy.

Suddenly, he's cuddling up to me, burying his face into my shoulder and his arms wrapping around my neck. I laugh a little.

"Hello," I say softly.

"Hi," he says back, but it's muffled in my shoulder.

I laugh softly, my arms coming to rest around him.

We sit like that for a while, and I find that I'm more comfortable than I think I ever have been.

"How about I take you out for a treat, considering we didn't yesterday?" I ask him softly, my hand coming from his back to rest in his hair.

He looks up at me, a small struggle clear on his face. I suddenly regret asking, not wanting to make him turn on me again.

"Okay," he tells me, and a rush of relief goes through me.

He climbs off of me and excuses himself to go get changed. I realize that he's still wearing the clothes from last night.

"Andy?" I call him before he can leave.

"Yeah?" He turns back.

I smile a little. "You look cute in that outfit."

He smiles and clasps his hands in front of him, looking down at the floor. A blush comes to his cheeks, making him looking even more adorable than usual.

"Keep it on for me?" I ask, and he looks back up.

He eyes me warily, but says, "Okay." His blush doesnt fade either. "Where are we going?" He asks.

I laugh. "I'm surprising you. It's one of my favourite places."

"Mikey..."

"I know. I promise it'll be nothing extravagant."

"But-"

"-Do you trust me?"

He goes silent for a few moments. I glance at him: he's staring at the ground, his lips curve up into a small smile. As he looks back up at me, there's a light in his eyes. I stand up, walking over to take his hand. He smiles.
