"Everyone here says that I'm just a mistake, that I'm not supposed to exist. What do you expect?"

- Vanellope Von Schweetz

The next day in New York was spent being nonstop busy from 5AM. The fact that Halley had a huge interview that morning was the main reason. She had a lot going on the next few days, which was the main reason Louis was hired to join them, because she really needed her personal assistant on this trip. And Louis has never been so exhausted in his life.

He was woken up by the sound of a loud alarm and it was the first time he had to get up early for his job. At least, that early. The jetlag and time difference was not helping at all. He was so fucking tired and he didn't know how Halley just up already, because he looked over and noticed her bed was made and she wasn't on it.

Louis groaned, rubbing his eyes tiredly as he reluctantly got up. He didn't know if being around Halley was worth the early morning work. If there's one thing Louis hated, it's early mornings. He thought eight am was hard, but 5am? Bitch, he goes to sleep at five in the morning.

The boy sluggishly dragged his feet across the room, wondering where Halley was. He assumed maybe she got breakfast, considering she didn't get to eat much the night before, thanks to her horrible mother and those bitchy comments the woman made. He still didn't appreciate those.

When Louis headed to the bathroom, he yawned and opened the door, only to yelp in surprise when he was met with the sight of Halley in the shower, the sliding door foggy so it blurred out a lot of the image before him. But that didn't stop anyone from freaking out.

"Lou-- what the fuck, get out! What are you doing? Haven't you heard of knocking?" Halley exclaimed, covering her body.

Louis quickly turned around, having been stunned. He blushed fiercely, "I'm so sorry, I didn't hear the shower on! I thought you were - sorry, I'm just gonna - I'm really sorry."

He was flustered, frantically exiting the bathroom with his face hot and overall, just being a very awkward human being. He's normally composed (ha, what a lie) but that was something he didn't expect. And it's strange, because he didn't normally get embarrassed over such things.

He's not a virgin with no experience involving women, but it was always a different story with her. It took him a moment to get over the initial shock. Then he tried his best to act like nothing happened and went on to getting dressed himself. He was going to shower, but right now he just wanted to get dressed and not be around a shower at the moment.

Even if he may need one, considering his morning wood, which usually went away fairly quickly but after the certain situation and what he saw -- let's just say, it's not easy to forget. He didn't see much, but he certainly saw enough to imagine a few things. Louis groaned, face-palming over his naughty thoughts.

He shouldn't be thinking things like this, he knew Halley was also embarrassed and mad. Which he understood, but the bathroom seemed to be soundproof and it's not like she locked the door or warned him that she was taking a shower. He's tired and it was a sincere accident. And yet, things got very tense when she exited the bathroom, dressed with an angered look on her face.

Halley glared at him, accusing, "I swear, if you were trying to take a peep, I will call Mitch right now and - "

"I wasn't, I swear," Louis said sincerely, eyes wide. "I am not some creep, I promise. I was just going to take a piss and shower."
