Chapter 4

Ella's POV

         So I walked around the courtlooking for a tough looking dude who look to not have a partner when I saw the guy who was starring at me earlier all alone,leaning against the bleacher and smoking.Sweet baby jesus why me? I said to myself as i thought about how hot he really is as I walked up to him.He knew I was walking toward him but he acted like he didn't "To act sexy". Once I got there and I stood in front of him.

"Hi." I said my voice slightly cracking.

"Hey." He responded smoothly as he blew smoke out of his mouth.

"So....Your my partner?" I asked abit to awkwardly.

"Depends,What's your name?" He asked.

"Ella Turner." I said faking a smile.

"Hmm.I was expecting you to be blonde." He said smirking throwing his cigarette and crushing it.

"Umm okay...So what's your name?" I asked him nicely.

"Chris." He answered trying to make himself look tougher.

"Nice to meet you,Chris." I said extended my arm out.

"I know." He answered back leaving me hanging there.

What an asshole I thought to myself.Then I noticed him leave the room.So I thought it would be a good idea to follow him.He walked down the hall and past the waiting room.He opened the door and he held it open for me which kindof caught me off guard.Then When I walked outside it looked like Earth.It had buildings but no color. It was like a city but not a very pretty one.I noticed it was crazy hot outside.Kindof reminds me of California in the summer,but on fire season.Which if you ask me is crazy hot.Then I saw Chris sit on a sporty motorcycle and put on his helmet.

"Are you coming?" He asked me as he turned on the motorcycle.

"Yeah." I responded as I walked toward the motorcycle.

I sat down.Then I sat there not knowing if I warp my arms around him or if I just sit there and....Vroooom! 

"AHHHHHH!" I screamed as I noticed he took off.

I quickly wrapped my arms around him as if my life depended on it...funny thing is that it did. I buried my bare face into his back.Man...I'm never getting on this damn thing with him ever again I thought to myself.Then we came to a complete stop.

"Erm. You can let go now..." He said slightly chucking.

"You sure?" I asked him still holding on pretty tight.

"Yeah." He answered.

I opened my eyes and let go of him. I saw we were at this apartment complex but the kindof nice ones with glass and everything.

"Geez, you have a strong grip." He said rubbing his stomach.

"I know." I answered back and walked away with alot of sass.

Then I noticed that I had not idea where I was going.So I walked to the door and stopped waiting for him. He was getting his leather jacket off from his motorcycle.How cliche he has a leather jacket  badass mode I thought to myself.He did his tough dude walk until he got to the door and opened it.He let me  in first but I waited for him to lead the way.

"You live here?" I asked looking around the complex.

"Yeah." He answered as he walked up the steps up to the third floor.

We walked up what seemed like hundreds of steps.Now that I noticed I have really gotten use to using escalators and elevators.Then we walked down the hall to the room 306.He got his keys out and opened the door.I walked in it was way different then I would expect. It was a room with wood and dark brown walls,White leather couch,black mat, a glass coffee and a HUGE flat screen tv.I stood there in awe for what felt the longest time.

"Wowwww." I said extending the w.

"You like?" He asked taking off his jacket and hanging it up on the coat hooks.

"Yeah. It's amazing." I responded.

"Great,Because your gonna be living with me for awhile." He said calmly.

"WAIT WHAT?!" I quickly blurted out.

"Yeah.You have to live with your partner during the trial and all." He said heading toward what I'm guessing is the kitchen.

"But, how? why? what am i gonna tell people?" I pretty much slurred my words as I followed him to the kitchen.

"Well, You just tell them your going on a family emergency and will be gone for awhile." He responded.

"Okay,But i'm gonna need clothes if I'm going to stay here." I said looking around the kitchen which was also amazing.

"That's why the portal is going to take you back home and I'll give you a day to get everything ready and you'll be back by tommorow." He said looking inside the fridge.

"Hmm.Okay." I answered sitting down on the bar stools.

"And In that case.See ya tommorow." He said getting out an apple and biting it.

"Huh?" I said then I noticed the redlight appear again.

"Oh great.See ya."I said as I got out of my chair and walked into the redlight.

I then woke up and looked around the room seeing I was in my room. I looked at the time and it was 7:34 am. I looked over to see Karson still asleep.

"Whoa,that was weird dream." I whispered to myself.

I got up and walked over to the bathroom and turning on the water to take a shower. I brushed my teeth then I hopped into the shower.Once I felt the hot water hit my skin I couldn't help but sing Problem by Ariana Grande.After awhile I heard the door crack open.I knew it was Karson so I quickly washed out the conditioner out of my hair. Then I opened my eyes there he was standing infront of me smirking.

"Morning Babe." He said now smiling.

"Morning." I answered.

He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me.He began to kiss my neck and then he said something that took me off guard.

"You sound abit like Jessica Sanchez when you sing but you have a softer voice." He murmured against my neck.

"Is that a complement?" I asked not knowing to say Thank you or not.

"Nooo, I was trying to make fun of your mouse sounding voice." He said grinning.

"HAHA. Very funny." I said sarcasticly.

"I know I am." He said.

"Whateves." Is all I could answer back  before Karson smashed his lips into mine.
