Chapter 8

Ella's POV

 I sat there talking to Ricky about how to get a wave.So he would yell at me to paddle and I did as fast as I could but once it was time for me to stand up I would fall over. I tried about a billion times until I actually got a wave.I stood up and  the waves just led me towards where Abe was.I heard Ricky yelling of excitement. Then I turned around  because I got this really weird feeling  and I fell over.I got up out of the water and I heard Abe and Quinton clap. I could help but smile  as I got up on the surfboard.I started paddling towards them when I saw Simon come back. Awesome..just my luck.I kept on paddling until I got close to Abe.

"Good Job." Quin said smiling widely.

"Thanks." I said smiling back.

"Yeah,great job for a girl like you." I heard Simon snarl at me as he paddled toward us.

"What do you mean girl like me?" I said already giving him a death glare.

"You know what I mean. A girl who tries to act innocent and sweet to get what she wants." He said annoyingly.

 "What the hell is your problem!?" I shouted at him.

"Your my problem!" Simon replied harshly.

"ALRIGHT! Simon shut up!" Abe shouted in Simon's face.

"No,This little bitch.." Simon said now staring at Abe.

"SIMON!SHUT UP THE FUCK UP! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY FACE!" Abe said with his jaw clenched tight.

Then Simon just paddled away.I looked at the other guys and they seemed fine.But, I must have had a scared face because they both asked me if I was fine.Abe then let himself fall into the water and stayed under for a while before surfacing again.

"We should go get food.I'm hungry and your probably hungry too." He said calmly as I nodded in response.

"You wanna come with Quin?" He asked looking at Quin.

"Nah, Imma rip a couple more waves." He said looking out into the sea.

"You sure?" Abe asked again as Quin nodded in reassurance.

"Okay,Then see ya later brah." Abe said trying to sound manly.

"Later Dude and see ya around Ella." He said smiling widely.

"See ya Quinny boy." I said giggling as he did the same.

Abe and I paddled away towards land.Once I got out of the water I felt goosebumps rising up my legs now that the sand colder now.I felt the surfboard slowly leaving my hand.

"I got it.You should go get your clothes.I'll meet you back in the truck." Abe said as I gave him a nod.

I walked towards my clothes and realized I didn't have a towel.Shit good job Ella and your probably gonna get his seats all wet now I thought to myself.I put my clothes and sandels on.I walked my way towards where Abe had last parked his truck.As I got closer I saw his lips moving and him banging his thumbs against the steering wheel.I opened the truck's door and sat down.

"So,Where do you wanna go?" He said looking at me.

"I Don't know.Hmm,What about TacoBell?"I responded smiling.

"Okay! A TacoBell we shall go."He said in a high pitch tone.

I immediately started laughing and he burst out laughing as he put the truck in reverse.We sat there quiet just listening to music for a while until he interupted.

"You know you've been shaking since you got in the truck.He said as he still kept his eyes on the road.

"Yeah,I know,I forgot to get a towel when you dropped me off." I responded as I looked out the window.

"Oh." is all he said before at a redlight he reached at the back of his seat and pulled out a dark blue with green striped jacket.

"Here.Sorry I didn't have a towel." He said smirking as the light turned green for him to go.

"Thanks." I said giggling and putting the jacket on.

I could feel him look at me once an a while as he was driving.I would slightly smile each time I would notice.We finally got to TacoBell after what felt like hours but was actually 10 minutes.We both got out of the truck.He walked towards me smirking as he held the door open.I walked in first and felt people immediately turn to look at us.I let Abe walk up to the cash register lady first when......oh... my.... god...Is that..
