Chapter 7

Ella's POV

"Wait,Why?" I said confused.

"Your not ready for waves yet. So for now the sand is your bestfriend." He said smiling.

"Oh Okay I guess." I said awkwardly as I followed his in instructions.

We spent about one hour just in the sand.He was showing me how to properly stand up on the surfboard and how to paddle.So much work I thought to myself.

"I look psychotic." I said as I paddled.

"Who cares about how you look like." He said as he stood next to me.

"I care." I said as I got up.

"Okay,well I think you ready to rip some waves." He nodding toward the waves.

"Yes!" I said slightly jumping.

We both got out surfboards and got into the water which was surprisingly warm.We walked into the water until we actually had to get on the board and paddle.I followed him to the waves which weren't big nor small.

"Okay,So you see those guys over there?" He said pointing out at a group of surfers.

"Yeah.Why?" I asked.

"Their my buddies.So if you have any issues with surfing or them.Just let me know.Okay?" He said sweetly.

"Okay,Yeah." I said smiling.

We kept paddling until we got to the guys who are he's buddies.They all looked kindof of like Abe in way except none had his killer smile.

"Eyyy Abe." They all said in unison.

"Sup." He answered casually as all the guys starred at me.

"And who's she?" One of the guys which had hazel eyes pointed out.

"Oh,I want all of you to meet Ella.I'm teaching her how to surf." He said smiling over at me.

"Ella,This is Ricky." He said pointing toward the one with hazel eyes.

"Hey,Ella." Ricky said nicely.

"Hi." I responded..

"Then there's Simon,Quinton,and Adam." He said pointing out the rest.

"Hey." They all said in unison again.

"Hi." I said again.

Then Abe just paddled away out of no where.Then Ricky left with him but the rest just stayed there with me.Goddamn it Abe.

"So,What are you? His Girlfriend?" The one with brown hair and mucky green eyes said which I'm guessing is Adam.

"No,I'm just his friend." I said not knowing what to say.

"Oh,That's just terrible." Simon said.He had bleach blonde hair and light blue eyes.

"And why is that?" I said squinting at him.

"I mean a girl as sexy as you being soo lonley." He said scanning me.

I stood there for awhile not knowing what to say.The way he said that sent chills down my spine.I was waiting for something to happen but nothing did.Then I heard the one with bleach blonde hair and brown eyes talk.

"Simon,Stop being such a fucking pervert." Quinton said as he paddled towards me.

"Why don't you mind your own business Quinny boy?" He said sharply at him.

"Want me to call over Abe to see what he thinks about your stupid comment." Quinton said as he floated next to me but then Simon just huffed and paddles away towards the other side of the pier.

After I saw he left I paddled away toward Abe as fast as I could.I heard noises behind me it was Quinton trying to catch up to me.

"Wait up!" Quinton shouted out at me as I slowed down for him.

"I'm sorry for what happened back there." He implied about the Simon thing.

"No,It's okay I'm use to jerks like that." I said faking a smile.

"Oh okay,Hey. How did you meet Abe anyways?" He asked nicely.

"I met him today at the pier." I replied as I stopped paddling and sat up knowing Abe was just inches away.

"Cool." He answered back.

"How long have you know Abe?" I asked.

"I've know him since.I don't know. Fifth grade." He said as he drifted off into memories.

"So,You guys are practically bestfriends." I said.

"Well,Yeah,I guess." He said slightly laughing.

Then I saw a flash at the corner of my eye.I looked over to see Abe riding wave.He was really good at it to. He ripped the wave a couple of times until it formed into a nice pipe.Which looked awesome the way he went through it then fell.

"Haha.Wipe out!" Quinton shouted out as he saw Abe pop out of the water.I started laughing when I saw Abe threw up a shaka.He started paddling towards us.

"Radical,Man!" Quinton said as him and Abe did a weird manly hand shake thing.

"That was great." I said smiling at him.

"Ya think so?" He said running his hand through his wet hair.

"Yeah." I said nodding like a little kid. Which caused both of them to laugh.

"Hey,Ella why don't you go rip some waves.Ricky would love to have the pleasure to show you." He said as I looked over to Ricky who waved at me.

"Okay.See ya in a bit." I said paddling towards Ricky.

"I'll be here if you need anything!" I heard Abe shout out once I was next to Ricky.

Abe's POV

"I'll be here if you need anything!" I shouted once I saw Ella was next to Ricky and she gave me a small gesture.

"She's really pretty." Quinton pointed out.

"Yeah." I responded as my mind out to something else.

"What's wrong?" Quin asked me.

"I feel like I've met her before but I'm not quite sure." I said pondering where I might have met her.

"Nah, I've never see her before so I doubt you've met her before.But she could be the girl of your dreams." He said winking knowing I was gaining feels for this girl.

"Haha. Very funny." I said as serious as I could.

"Admit it your crushing on this girl. I can see it in the way you talk to her." He smiling widely.

"Not even.I just met her this afternoon." I said as I thought that I might have feels for her.

I sat there acknowledging they way she moved to try to rip but kept falling.Did I gain feelings for this stranger? Then I quickly noticed that she finally was able to stand still on a wave as I sat there in awe.
