Clandestine Affection

Lets start with how they met,
She said hi and the other answered hello,
It's like they had seen a halo.
They had the same interest
That made them best of friends,
Her type is also the other's type,
And her life is also the other's life.
They started being the happy friends,
Until they got smack,
Smack by the idea that them being friends
is puny,
For what they feel is lofty.
They started to unveil
That started a new story to tell,
They showed each other affection

And feels like it is the happiest season.
Just like season it changes,
The happiness fades
And sadness replaced.
They started to feel weary
As the people around them try to make
their rainbow gloomy,
Their love was broken by the idea of them
being together could never be.
Their love was never one sided luckily,
It's just that they could never be together because
of their same identity.
