P.o.V: Red

My brain just started processing what Lazuli's brother just announced to me. I thought that she didn't escape the lab when he was attacked.

-S-she really escaped? I asked him.

-Yup! He replied.

I had so much question to ask him about mom so i asked him everything i had in mind.

-Is she ok? Where is She? I asked him.

-From what i've heard, she's okay, and she's living in your sister's appartment.

I was now relieved. After everything i went through, i can now sleep at peace knowing that she's allright.

-Greaaaaat. Now that you gave him answers about his mother, can i have answers too? Asked Lazuli, seemingly a little irritated for some reason.

P.o.V: Lazuli

I brought him in my room and sat on my bed, with the intent of making him respond to my questions.

-So... I'll ask again, what did you mean by 'During a mission'?

He stayed silent for a few seconds, then took a deep breath before answering me.

-I suppose that i can trust you with this, but do not reveal it to anyone...
Have you heard about the Squidbreack Splatoon ?

-Yeah, the Squadron who fought in the great Turf War. What about it?

-Well... This group has reformed, and a few weeks ago, i became one of it's new members.

To be honest... I didn't know how to react at this moment. Sure, by joining it he'll protect the Inkling society and that's great. But on the other side, as my brother, i'll always worry about him.

-Just promise me you'll try to stay safe during your missions.

-Ummm... The simple fact of participating in those missions makes it not safe. But okay. I'll try my best to be.

-Good.

He then left my room and started to walk in the direction of the door.

-That's all i had to say for now. I'll take my leave this instant.

But before he left, he was tackle-hugged by Red.

-Thank you for doing this.

He didn't react at first, but then started petting his tentacles.

-You're welcome, young one.

And on that, he left.

P.o.V: Luan

After spending litteral hours of being scolded by my superiors, i returned to my little appartment in an Octarian city. I opened the door and dropped my gear on the hanger.

-How was your day, sweetie?

I turned in direction of the sofa to see my mom sitting on the couch.

-It's been kind of both. I responded.

-What do you mean by that?

-On one side, i failed to protect a zapfish from an agent and i'm coming back from the lecture of a lifetime by my superiors.

-Yeesh.

-But on another note, Red will probably soon know that you're alive.

This sentence has peeked her interest.

-Wha-How?

-I sent someone to look for him and to tell him that.

-And... Who might that be, if i may ask?

-I asked... An agent to do it.

She looked at me with a stoic expression before speaking again.

-And... How can you be so sure that this agent will do that?

I stayed silent for a few seconds before answering.

-Everytime i faced an agent, me and him fought until one of us was splatted. Because they were the enemy and it was the only way to have our conflicts. I've always thought of it like that, until today. Where I was sent, the spawn point was dynsfuctionnal, so if we were splatted, there would be no going back. And this agent could've done it easily, he even hold me at gunpoint. All he had to do was to pull the trigger. But he didn't, and decided to spare me. Just by doing that, he made me question if all the inklings were blood-thirsty monsters, or if it was just both our sides that were misunderstanding each other.

-Maybe, who knows. Maybe one day there'll be peace to both our species. But for now, let's just hope for the best.

I looked at the window, facing the setting sun.

-Yeah...
Let's just hope.

P.o.V: Amy

I was eating at a restaurant with Richard. The food was great, but i couldn't help but notice that Richard was lost in his thoughts. I was about to ask him about it, but he beat me to that.

-Amy... I have a secret to tell you.

I was intrigued by that. He then continued, but keeping his voice low.

-The truth is that... I'm Agent 3.

Wut?

-YOU'RE AG-HMMMPH

I was silenced by his hand over my mouth.

-Not so loud! Anyways. The reason that i tell you that is because...
.
.
.
I may have a service to ask you...

A.N: Yeah... I still live.
