Lauren POV
I couldn't sleep so I turned to my side facing my girlfriend. I look at the clock behind her, 3:30am. Ugh I'm so tired but I still can't fall asleep. I lay back down so I'm now staring at the ceiling. Movement from next me made freeze, I hope I didn't wake her. Y/n then cuddled into me and rested her head on my chest. She's so cute I swear.

I kissed her head and wrapped an arm around her waist. I slowly began making circles on her back. "Why are you up?" She asked me with her cute sleepy voice. "I couldn't sleep baby girl" I said and kissed her head again, that made her sit up and look at me. "Is there something on your mind?" She asked while rubbing her eyes. Yeah I wanna marry you that's what's on my mind. "It's just... no never mind" I say and close my eyes. Y/n is suddenly straddling me and has my face in her hands. "Don't say that, tell me baby" she said and kissed my forehead. I slowly opened my eyes and when I saw the love in her eyes, I broke down. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I cried on her shoulder. "It's okay baby I'm here" y/n said and kissed the side of my head. I held her tight against me and I slowly stopped crying.

She pulled away but still in my arms. Y/n wiped my tears away with her thumbs. "What's wrong?" She asked and kissed my cheek. I moved my hand so I held her by the waist. "I just love you so much so this was happy tears obviously" I said giggling a little at the end. I sat up so my back was leaning against the headboard. "But I wanted to give you this" I say as I reach for the box in my nightstand. "I wanted to do this somewhere else but I can't wait anymore" I pulled the box out and she gasped. I took the ring out.

"Y/n, I love you so much. This is not a proposal but I see a future with you. I wanna grow old with you by my side. You're like my oxygen without you I can't breathe. Words can't express how much I love you. I can't bare the thought of losing you. I promise that I will propose to you in the future. Do you promise to stay and love me?"
I hadn't noticed that I was crying until y/n wiped my tears with a big smile on her face. "Of course baby!! I love you so much" she said and kissed me so our tears now melted into one. We pulled away and I put the diamond ring on her finger. She admired it and looked at me with so much love in her eyes. With her still straddling me she leaned forward and connected our lips.

I kissed back passionately and when air became an issue, I started kissing her neck.
"Babe... stop" she moaned out, I pulled away smirking at my mark. "What is it?" I ask and it was now I realized how tired she was. Y/n yawned so I started yawning too. She giggled before laying down next me. I laid back down and pulled her closer to me so she rested her head on my chest. She had one of her legs around mine so I put one hand on her thigh and wrapped my other arm around her waist. "I love you" I mumbled into her hair. "I love you too Lo" Then sleep consumed the both of us.
