Lauren POV
"No no no no" I rush out and grab y/n's face, "babe come back" I cry and shake her as much as I can. "PLEASE" I sob into her shoulder. "I wanna marry you" I mumble to myself. The ambulance people come rushing in "move away please" they say and my body freezes, I can't move. My dad pull me away as I continue to sob. We walk outside and watch them pull y/n on the blackboard into the ambulance. "Can I come with you" I ask while still crying slightly, "how do you know her?" They ask, "she's my girlfriend" the man nods and lets me come in. I sit down on a chair next to the bed. I hold her hand and use my other hand to call Dinah, her sister. After a few seconds Dinah answers, "hey lo" she says, "hey Dinah" I answer and my voice cracked, "wait are you crying? What's wrong?" Dinah asks concerned and that's when I broke down, "y-y/n got shot so we're on our way to the hospital. Dinah s-she's not waking up" I sob into the phone. "What? Please tell me you're joking" Dinah says crying on the other side of the call. "I'm not" I say, "what hospital are you going to?" Dinah asks and I can hear her rushing around telling her parents what's happening. "(Your closets hospital)" I choke out, "okay we'll meet you there" Dinah says and then we hang up. "Hang on baby" I say and kiss y/n's knuckles.

Your POV
The first thing I hear is beeping noises and whispers. I groan and open my eyes but close them due to the bright lights. I then slowly open them again and let my eyes adjust to the light, "babe" I hear Lauren say from next to me. I turn my head to look at her and smile tiredly "hey" I sat with a sore throat. Lauren immediately goes in for a hug, "thank god you're awake" she says into my neck as I feel something wet touch my neck. I pull Lauren away and holds her face in my hands, "don't cry, I'm fine" I say and wipe her tears. Lauren nods and quickly kiss my lips. "Where's Di-YOURE AWAKE" I got interrupted by my big sister Dinah. Dinah rushes over to the side of the bed and hugs me tightly, I wince in pain "that hurts Dinah" I groan. "Oh my god I'm so sorry" she quickly apologized, "it's fine" I reassure her. "I brought you some water" Dinah says and hands me a cup of water, "thanks" I say and start drinking. Suddenly two officers came in, "y/n you're awake" they smile at me, "yeah I just woke up actually" I say and Lauren squeezed my hand that she's holding. "If you don't mind, Ethan and I need to ask a couple of questions about what happened two weeks ago" one of the men named Lukas said. "Sur-actually we do mind, my girlfriend just woke up from a coma so I would appreciate if she could get some rest" Lauren interrupted me, "Lauren it's fine" I say and squeeze her hand, "you sure?" She asks worried, "yeah" I say and give my attention towards the two officers. "Wait you said two weeks ago. Have I been asleep for that long?" I ask shocked, everyone nodded, "well damn" I mumble. "We're just gonna go straight for it so you can rest" Ethan says and I nod. "Can you tell us what the person looked like? What it was wearing, did they have a mask on" I close my eyes to remember, "he was tall maybe around 6"2 ish, he didn't wear a mask so I could see that he had a big scar on his left cheek, blue eyes, black hair and he also had an accent" I say and open my eyes. Lukas took notes, "what kind of accent?" Ethan asked further, "kind of a mixture of British and Irish" I explain, Ethan nods as Lukas takes notes. "Did he steal anything?" Lukas asks, "no, he was planning on it but I stopped him" I say and look at Lauren. "You're sure it was a male?" Ethan asks, "yeah well by the sound of his voice I could tell and he groaned in pain when I kicked him in his private area" I explain looking at Ethan and laugh a little. "Thank you for helping us further with this investigation" Lukas says, I smile and nod and they leave. "Are you sure you're okay? Do you need anything?" Dinah ask as she rubs her hand on my arm. "I'm fine" I smile up at her, the nurses come in. "Hi we're here to do a little check up on you" one of them says, "okay" I smile and let them do their work. "When can she go home?" Lauren asks right before they leave, "I would think in maybe 4-5 days, it depends on her body" one of them answers and Lauren nods "thank you" she says before turning her attention to me.
"So what's been happening for the last two weeks?" I ask, Dinah laughs, "well we've basically just been here" Dinah says, "the whole time?" I ask shocked, "yeah" Lauren says and it's now I see the bags under her eyes. "Babe have you slept at all?" I ask looking at Lauren closely, "I did manage to sleep for 5 min yesterday" Lauren shrugged, "Lo you have to sleep, come here" I say and move slightly to the side to make room. "What are you doing?" Lauren asks, I just pat the spot next to me "come cuddle" I smile at her, Lauren stands there unsure, "I don't want to hurt you" she says, "you're not gonna hurt me now get your beautiful ass in here" I laugh, Lauren gets in next to me and rests her head on my chest while wrapping an arm around my stomach. Her left leg were over my thighs. I wrap my arms around her, "sleep babe, I'll be right here when you wake up" I say and kiss her head. "I love you babygirl" Lauren mumbles, "I love you too" I answer and kiss her head again.
"I'm gonna go to let you guys get some rest but I'll be back later" Dinah says and leans over us to kiss my forehead. "Bye Dinah" I smile at her and she walks out.
