Heeey! Early update, woohoo! (I actually had this mostly written for a while, but don't tell anyone ; D ) To my lovely commenters:

TheTigerFoxx: Oh yes~!

KarlaMendiolaRochin: Hey, they aren't lover (yet), and I'm pretty sure I included a possibly platonic tag. Don't through moirails into the matesprit quadrant so willingly.

Pandemonium825: I'm glad you feel so strongly for our poor little blind teenager. ^_^ Bill would gladly save him, if Dipper wasn't so prideful.

Keep in mind, this will probably be the only time I update this early, so don't get your hopes up. Remember, authors feast on comments, reads, likes, bookmarks, and all of the above! Enjoy the show~

Chapter 12-Alive But Forgotten

Scowling, Dipper releases Mabel, instead holding her hand. "What would make you think we were friends? You were just one of my chemistry partners."

Bill laughs nervously, looking as if he just swallowed something sour. "W-what?"

"Dude, just because we're classmates doesn't mean you have a good reason for being here."

Mabel blinks owlishly at the exchange, unable to comprehend it. "Dipper, quit joking around. You've been hanging out with Bill since we started school here."

"No..." Dipper shakes his head. "The most time I've spent with him has been for that chemistry project. Why're you trying to make it out like we're buds or something?"

"Because we are!" Bill argues. He throws an arm around Dipper's shoulder as he recalls, "Don't you remember when I convinced ol' Fordsy to let you explore the forest? And then we battled Cupcake before we shrunk him down."

Dipper looks perturbed as he shakes his head. "Hardly. I've barely spent time with you outside of school, never mind exploring. Mabel and I battled Cupcake." Then quietly to himself, "No clue why you'd think you were there."

Mabel, pained by this, tries her hand. "Don'tcha remember when Bill saved you from those obnoxious twerps from school?"

"That was Officer Klein..."

"Or the sleepover where you dared me to chug a pitcher of Mabel juice?"

"I'm pretty sure Pacifica was the one who drank the Mabel juice..."

"Or when we raced Bill up the mountain to see the Multi-Bear?!"

"Mabel, it was just us."

Horrified, Mabel backs away, only to take off out the open bedroom door. "Mabel, wait-!" Dipper calls, unable to understand why she is so distressed over one of their classmates. At her rapid footsteps pounding down the stairs, Dipper sighs. 'Just another thing I'll have to figure out about my twin.'

Softly, quietly, Bill queries in a wavering voice, "Do you really not remember?" He had backed away as well, now standing closer to the foot of the bed.

Dipper answers him resolutely.

"No."

"Grunkle Stan! Grunkle Ford!"

Both of the elderly Pines men look up from their places in the front room to see Mabel panting in the doorway, the beginning of tears forming in her eyes. "What's wrong, Mabel?" Ford immediately asks, leaning forward on the couch.

"D-Dipper! He d-doesn't know who- or anything they've! He's completely forgotten and it's awful and they were so-" The brunette emphasizes her words with wild hand movements.
