Virgil POV

"aaaaaaAaaaah. What am I supposed to do?" I asked face palming myself.

I have been locked away, on my own free will, for days now. Almost feels like an eternity. Part of me wants to leave this damn room, but another part of me doesn't dare try to.

I fear that, once I leave my room, the others will be constantly asking me questions. But they leave food by my door everyday, it's odd but nice of them, I guess.

"I'm so excited for the next video," I heard on the other side of my room door. Sounded like Patton.

"I think I'll wear my cat onesie this time."

Yup. It is Patton. Why is he gonna wear that, stupid and kinda fun, outfit anyway?

"Absolutely not. The point of the video is to be, how do you say it?..... Horrifying."

"It's scary, you nerdinstein!" Roman yelling, like he always does. I swear, for a handsome prince, he can be an egotistic prick. Wait....

"Nonetheless, we have to impress the people." Logan says in a calm matter. " And its also a contest among us."

Contest? Hm...

"We all know who'll win." Roman said sounding all confident about it.

"Yeah" Patton sighed. "Too bad Virgil won't be joining in on the fun."

Wait, who said I didn't want to scare anyone? Or that I didn't want to celebrate my favorite holiday?

"He might." Logan said, "but we have another day or so for the new recording session. Now come on, let's head to the living room."

I waited a few moments, to make sure they were gone, before I cracked the door open a little.

"I'll show them, who's the best at scaring," I said to myself, "but I'll need some supplies and other things to make my costume."

I quickly closed the door, and grabs my black book bag. There was no way I was gonna carry everything back by hand. Unlocking every lock on my door, reaching for the handle.

I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. Looking left and right, making sure the coast was clear. All there was, was the stairway to my left and the others doors to my right.

I have to go through the second stairway, leading to the other sides (like decit and sleep) and heading to the attic. And that's where I need to get the stuff from.

Ever so quietly, I closed my door heading in the direction of the attic.

I gotta make this fast before anyone knows I'm out.

Roman POV

Me, Logan and Patton, were hiding in the bottom of the stairway, waiting for Mr. Emo to leave his room.

Once he left the room, we headed to the door.

"Okay kiddos," Patton said, in a somewhat serious tone, "who's going in?"

"I think you should Patton, you're basically the happiest one, so you might cheer him up," I said.

"I don't think so," Logan responded, fixing his tie. Nerd. "I think you, Roman, should be the one to go in."

"WHAT?! WHY?! HE HATES ME!! AND I HATE HIM!" I yelled, causing Patton to cover my mouth, to keep me quiet.

"I'm aware of that," Logan said, "but you're also the reason why he started acting like this."

I sighed.

"Logan's right." Patton spoke, "you need to apologise, and maybe make up with him."

I was baffled by what Patton was suggesting. Why should I apologise? I didn't do anything wrong. Everything about panic! At the everywhere is wrong.

Logan points to the door, "go in there, hide and wait for him to come back. Then, well, you know the rest."

I wanted to argue with Logan on this, but we heard mumbling and footsteps. No more time for talking, so I snuck in real quick and found a weird trunk and hid in there.

Didn't know if Logan and Patton ran off or not, but not too long after, Virgil came back inside.

"Damn pranks!" He yelled, sounding pissed. "can't believe he squirted paint and glitter on me."

I lifted the lid of the trunk, to see. And I had to hold back a laugh, because oh my Disney. Virgil's clothes were covered in pink paint and rainbow glitter.

If I didn't know him, I would've thought he was unicorn boy. Okay, enough stalling. I was getting to climb out of the trunk, but couldn't. Not because I was stuck or anything, but something stopped me.

I looked at the emo nightmare, and he was stripping off his shirt. And what I saw make me more guilty than ever, yet make my face feel hot.

His body looked so skinny and smooth, but it was covered in what looked like scars. Maybe from previous cuts, which made me even more guilty.

I should've turned away, but didn't. I just couldn't stop staring, until I sneezed.

Virgil jumped, throwing on a random shirt, holding up a book as a weapon.

"Who's there?!" He yelled. "Show yourself!"

Shit!
