*hours later*

Logan POV

It was approximately 1200 hours, or noon for some. That's when Thomas finally decided to climb out of bed, and get started on a new video. Thomas said it was going to be a Holiday day special, which is understandable.

Christmas was just around the corner, but Patton had told us about wearing costumes. So I was bewildered, but I just let it proceed.

"And it's time to set our sights on that perennial season," Thomas said to the camera, "Christmas"

"NO!" Virgil yelled popping up. I swear, I don't think anyone knows the words, 'go with the flow.'

"No? You're a mean one," Thomas said.

Virgil, stop talking! Let Thomas continue with the video!

Instead he does the exact opposite, and complains about not doing other holidays. And of course, Thomas lists off a bunch of holidays. He lists off Easter, New year's, aunt Patty's day, don't get that one. Then finally lists off Halloween, and in an almost instant, Virgil was dressed a vampire.

Virgil laughed and hid in the stairway, waiting for us to come. I assume he was gonna try and scare us, but I can obviously see him. We all could see him, he's not an entity or something of that nature.

Alright. Let's get this embarrassment over with.

So the rest of us popped out, wearing our Halloween costumes. With Roman as an Egyptian mummy, I, as Frankenstein's monster. And Patton as, a dog... Not really scary but okay.

Roman POV

I can't believe Patton dressed up as a dog! He was supposed to be the wolfman!!! Then again, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

But still, I have the best costume because, well, what would suit me better than zombified royalty.

I got lost in my own self masterpiece, that I almost didn't keep track of the conversation. And apparently Patton thinks Spider-Man is scary. Oh god.

"Calm yourself JJ, Spider-Man isn't scary, he's a hero. Scary is more like...uhhh"

"LIKE THIS!?!?"

Virgil pops out of nowhere, with fake blood around his mouth. At least, I hope that's fake blood.

He scared me a bit, but not like screaming or anything. More like flinching. Virgil's costume wasn't too bad, makes him look mysterious in a good way.

I shook my head, responding, "no not like that."

He looked at me, "are you kidding? I have been working on this costume all day."

Then we got into talking about phases of something, I don't know for sure. I just went with it, responded when needed. But I was mostly trying to sneak glances at Virgil, smiling a little.

This vest and shirt looked fabulous on him, the hood he made, crafty. And the lipstick he was wearing, I wouldn't mind messing it up.

AAAAAAGH! Get those thoughts out of your head! You're not a perv, and you're most certainly not falling for HIM!!!

Anyway, we continue with phases, like Thomas's cosplay phase, emo phase, and Vine phase.

And Virgil ruined all of our costumes!! Logan's looked like a first graders made costume, Patton's looked like some heavy metal mutt mascot. And worst of all, he turned mine into a BURLAP SACK WITH VINES GROWING OUT OF IT!!!

Virgil POV

I used the others as examples of Thomas's phases, which was the best idea. Especially, messing with Roman. Plus, I got a few scares out of them, including Thomas with his Fedora phase. The reaction was priceless.

We ended the video and went back to our rooms. When I got back, I was gonna do some cleaning, but instead I found a snake. Deceit.

"Hello old friend," he said with a smile. "I have noticed something, how do I say this, interesting happening."

I glared at him, "what are you talking about slyther?" I will admit, not one of my best insult names.

"Oh. You didn't notice? I call bullshit." He smirked. "That annoying prince, was looking at you the whole time."

I blushed. There's no way Roman was. I even sneaked glances, to see if he was.

"And I know your little secret, maybe the others would like to know it." He continued.

I looked at him, trying to sound unfazed. "And what is my secret?"

Deceit laughed, God his laugh sounded like a cat getting hit with shoe.

"As if I'll tell you, it's half the fun." He laughed more.

I grabbed him by his collar, speaking through my teeth. "I swear, if you're trying to start something. I'll finish it, and I'll finish you off for good!"

"Sorry, I don't like you like that."

"What? Eww. No! That's not what I meant!" I blushed. I threw deceit to the wall. "Just leave." I said.

"Alright. This will be the last you see of me." He said, leaving through my door.

I admit, I'm afraid of what secret he knows about me. And more importantly, who does he plan to tell.

Because of these thoughts, I have, once again, zero sleep that night.

God, I wish I could go to sleep so easily like that sleeping beauty bitch.

Deceit POV

After leaving Virgil's room, I head to my own. Smiling and whistling a little tune.

"My word he's so stupid," I said to myself, "he really thinks that no one knows his secret. Virgil makes it so obvious."

"Everyone, well except maybe the three idiots, knows Virgil's in love with a certain prince."

I change into my nightwear, and climbed into bed.

Hey! What are you still doing here?

Leave! I want to sleep, without stalkers watching.

Now shoo!
