Chapter 10: Off

Jungkook's P.O.V

I went to the basement and saw that Taehyung's dad was sleeping.

I scoffed and I threw my glass of water onto his face, he immediately woke up.

"Did you have a good sleep?" I asked and bent down, looking at his bruised face.

"Jungkook, please don't hurt my son, I-I'll do anything," he stuttered and I smirked.

"Well.. I guess Taehyung's going to be pregnant for the second time."

Taehyung's P.O.V

I woke up and felt a stinging pain on the lower part of my abdomen. I groaned, trying to get up from the bed.

Dad.

I slowly walked towards the door but before I could open it, Jungkook appeared into my view first.

"Good morning babe!" He greeted me cheerfully and I looked at him in horror.

He must have noticed the horrid face I was making because he asked me about why my expression was like that.

"Are you mad at me because of last night or.. are you afraid of me?" He asked and I backed away.

"Oh, come on, don't be afraid Tae~" He said happily as he walked towards me. My back hit the wall and I gasped when his face approached mine.

Then he spoke in the most sweetest voice ever, "if you ever fucking tell anyone or especially, Hoseok about this, I will personally chop off your dad's fucking head and eat it, alright?" I closed my eyes and shook my head.

"N-No, I don't want that to happen." I could feel his breath on my neck.

"Look at me," he said softly and I slowly opened my eyes.

"I trust you Taehyung." He voiced as he held my right cheek lovingly.

"You.. trust me.. right?" Jungkook asked but I didn't answer. I couldn't look at his scary face.

"Hey.. answer me." He used his calm voice.

"I-I trust you, Jungkook."

Hoseok's P.O.V

"HOW COULD YOU LOSE A VICTIM HOSEOK?!" My chief shouted at me when we found out that Taehyung's dad was taken away.

"I WANT YOU TO INVESTIGATE THIS! FIND HIM AND HIS SON NOW!!!" He shouted as he punched the wall.

"Yes, sir!" Was what I could simply answer even when I knew it would take quite some time to track them.

"I'm gonna take some fresh air," he said before walking away. I took a deep breath and someone tapped on my shoulder, it was Ilhoon.

"You okay?" He asked and I nodded.

"I'm okay," I replied.

"By the way, why aren't you with Eunwoo?" He asked. Oh right, I nearly forgot that I had a partner.

"He hasn't texted me since yesterday," I replied and Ilhoon hummed in response.

"Well, good luck and don't forget to take care of yourself!" Ilhoon said and chucklesd.

"I will." I said quietly and he walked away.

Out of a sudden, I got a call from my stepmother. I sighed and picked it up.

"Hey, honey!"

"Hey.. Miss Je" I never tried called her 'mom.'

"Did you get a text or call from Lucas?" She asked and I sighed.

"No, not all at."

"Can you go visit him at work? Because he hasn't called me since yesterday." I could tell that she was worried about her son.

"Okay." I said.

"Okay, thanks Hoseok, bye!"

"Bye." I replied and hung up.

I went to my car and drove to Lucas' cafe.

Thinking about Lucas.. reminds me about what happened in the past.

When I was 4 years old, I remembered my parents had an argument that night and the next day, my mom left.

"Hoseok, meet your new mother!" My dad said gleefully and a beautiful woman stood infront of me as she smiled.

"Hello, Hoseok, nice to meet you." She greeted as she caressed my head.

My dad got married a few weeks later and.. the reason why they got married was because, my dad had accidentally impregnated his girlfriend while still married with my mom. He cheated and my mom found out about it. She never came back afterwards.

My dad and my stepmother gave all their love to Lucas, I guess I was a little jealous that he got all the attention? Also, I've never tried to get close with Lucas, we're like... strangers.

"Lucas hasn't come to work?" I asked his manager.

"His phone is off so it's hard for me to contact him." He answered and I nodded.

"Alright, thanks."

I went to my car and sighed.

Eunwoo's phone is off.

Lucas' phone is off.

Taehyung's dad is taken away.

Taehyung is missing.

And Jungkook.

I tried to call Lucas' phone but it didn't work.

Gosh Lucas.. where the hell are you?

Taehyung's Dad P.O.V

I looked around the basement to see if there was something I could use to get out of here. But, nothing. There was nothing.

I looked at the dead body near, when suddenly an idea hit me. I grabbed his feet using both of my hands that was tied up and pull him closer to me. I searched in his pocket and found his phone.

Thank goodness and now to call the police.

I turned on the phone and tried to call the police but coincidentally a call came in. It was Hosoek, I quickly answered it.

Hoseok's P.O.V

Eunwoo finally picked up his phone.

"Dude! Where have you beenㅡ"

"H-Help me" Someone was whispering.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"H-Hoseok ah.. this is Taehyung's dad.. please.. help me.. I'm in a basement somewhere and someone.. is trying to.. kill me.." He whispered.

T-Taehyung's dad?!

"I'll help you okay? And can you please tell me where you are right now?" I tried use a calm voice so he would panic a little less.

"I..I don't know.."

"I canㅡ" I stopped talking because I could hear loud, deafening footsteps through the call. Someone was coming to the basement.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"HELLO?? HELLO??!" I can hear someone on the phone, breathing heavily as if he was the one holding the phone.

"I know who you are." The person said.

"Search for him or Taehyung, and I'll kill them both and after that, you."

Then, it dawned into me.

"Jungkook. This is jungkook right? Whatever you do please don'tㅡ"

He hung up.
