Mackenzie's POV
Abby has been really nice to me lately I'm not sure why but oh well.
Assignments
"Ok" Abby says "this week we will be travelling to Las Vegas for nationals!!"
"Yay!" Said the girls
"Oh I won't be here..." Maddie says
"That's right Maddie" Abby says "this week Maddie will be attending a photoshoot in NEW YORK CITY! And she might not be back. It's for the video she did with Sia."
"Wow!" The girls said in awe
"Ok!" Abby said "time for assignments!"
"Everyone is in the group dance except for Maddie." "It is a jazz/lyrical dance called riches to rags.
Some of the girls nodded their heads.
Chloe, Nia and Paige- you have a trio it is contemporary and it is called wishbone.
Mackenzie- you have a solo called red! It is an Acro solo and you'd better prove to me you can do it and not mess it up!
Brooke- you have a solo called purple reign and hon you had better get ready because the choreography is difficult!
And that's it girls.
Mums go up to the viewing area, girls stretch we have a lot to get through!
................
When we got home that night I saw Maddie had packed her bags and they were sitting at the front door ready to go.
Mum was taking Maddie and I was to stay with Abby for the next 2 or 3 days.
..................
"Bye Madd's' I whisper to her.
"Bye Kenzieboo!" She replies happily.
As they get in the taxi and I wave goodbye.
Abby will be here any moment now to pick me up I grab my two bags, my suitcase and dance bag, lock all of the doors and head outside to sit on the front step.
While I am waiting I tie my long, soft brown hair back into a ballerina bun.
5 mins later
Hey Kenzie throw your stuff in the back and come sit next to me.
I put my bags in the back and open the passengers door.
"Hey Abby." I say
"Hey Kenz" she replies
She tells me my room is all set up ready for me. When we get to her big, spacious house I go inside and put my bags in my room. I've only been here a few times before and I've never actually stayed here..
.............
We have to head to dance in about an hour so I decide to get ready I redo my hair and put my dance clothes on.
"Ready to go Mackenzie?" Abby says yea I say.
When we get to dance i do all of the rehearsals which means dancing for 5hrs straight and afterwards I sit on the bench on the side and for some reason I fall asleep. I think Abby knows I'm tired and not feeling like the normal, bubbly, happy me today so she lets me sleep.

I wake up to find that I'm in the moms viewing area with the moms Christi, Holly, Jill, Kira, Kelly and Asia's mom. When I wake up Christi asks me if I'm feeling ok I say yeah and what happened? She told me that after my rehearsal I had fallen asleep on the bench and that Abby had carried me up here to sleep.
"You're sure you're ok Jill says, I say yeah that I just miss Maddie and mom a little bit.
"Aww" Christi says "it's ok to miss them there your family and they're not going to begone for long."
................
When we get home that night I skip dinner and got straight and collapse on my bed exhausted for some reason.
