~3rd POV~
You two headed to your car. You went in and looked over at Xander, who had his elbow on the car door and his cheek in his palm as he looked outside.
You smiled softly to yourself and then turned your car on, hearing the motor growl for a moment. You started getting out of your driveway, before beginning to drive on the road.
You both drove out of the town, seeing snow full hills around you, but soon enough, you found a small farm, behind it having big pine, evergreen trees covered in snow.
You parked nearby the farm and left your car with a stretch, looking over at Xander as he left the car as well.
He looked confused and you knew why...
He never celebrated Christmas!
Christmas was only a week or so away, but might as well get the tree early.
You grinned and went to him. "C'mon!" You grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the farm happily. You both walked in and you shivered as you felt warmth hit you. You turned and saw a fireplace, making cracking sounds and heating the entire small house up.
Inside was cozy, your average farm looking house.
You looked around a bit before,
"Y/N?"You turned your head to the voice to see a dark brown haired boy with light brown eyes. He was about your age, and he was wearing a red flannel and dark blue jeans. He gave you a warm smile, and you knew who he was. A dear friend of yours, Allen.
You gave a small smile, then a big grin. "Allen!" You ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
He looked surprised but happy, "Whoa whoa, Y/N!" He grinned, then hugged you back tightly. You pulled away and smiled at him, as he smiled at you. He then looked behind you and saw Xander, his smile softly fading. "Oh, who's this?" He asked with a smile.
You blinked and turned, seeing Xander look at you two in confusion, and another emotion you couldn't make out.
You smiled. "He's Xander, I'm sure you know." You then went next to Xander and leaned up, ruffling his white hair. "He's popular now~" You teased, making Xander narrow his eyes and look away, his cheeks turning a soft pink.
Allen's eyes widened gently. "Oh right! The wolf guy! Well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Allen." He explained warmly, smiling at Xander.
Xander rose a brow. "Hey..." He then glanced at you and inched closer, looking back at Allen. "How do you two know each other?" He asked quietly.
You laughed. "He's one of my childhood friends. We would sometimes come to his house for Christmas since he's the best tree seller ever!~" You explained, looking at Allen and going over, hugging his arm softly. "It's been forever since I've seen him."
Allen smiled warmly and softly rubbed your back.
That emotion you couldn't read grew stronger in Xander's eyes, his yellow eyes narrowing. "You two seem very close..." He murmured somewhat coldly.
Allen seemed to go to a pokerface, clearing his throat and looking down at you. "Um- So I'm guessing you're here for a tree, aren't you?" He smiled.
You grinned and nodded. "You're gonna give me the biggest tree for free, right?" You smirked, tilting your head.
Allen gave a soft laugh, shoving you away. "Oh, Y/N, you wish." He smirked at you and then started walking towards the back door.
You watched him, then looked at Xander and smiled. "Come on, let's pick out a tree!" You grabbed his arm and pulled him towards Allen, but he just kept silent.
Allen opened the back doors, and you met with a bunch of trees of different shapes and sizes.
The brown haired boy turned to you and smiled. "Most of the big ones are sold, you should've came earlier." He explained.
You gave a soft pout. "Aww, that sucks." You crossed your arms, looking at the different trees.
Xander blinked, then looked down at you. "Why does it have to be a big tree?" He asked.
You looked up at Xander, then gave a stubborn shrug. "I always loved the biggest trees for Christmas, more room to decorate, and they're pretty." You said a bit stubbornly, still upset that all the big trees were taken.
Allen gave a small laugh and glanced at Xander. "She's always been this way about trees, constantly wanting to compete."
You glared at him and smirked. "Oh shut up~" You sighed, your smirk fading.Xander looked at you, then at the other trees. Allen noticed the silence between everyone, then walked off somewhere.
After a small moment, he came back, holding a small tree, about the height of half of a door, it was a light green color and pretty cute. "This little guy didn't get sold yet." He explained, looking at the tree. "It grew very, very slowly compared to these trees. I might throw it away, since it's roots are pretty much all cut, it won't grow." He sighed.
You glanced at the tree, eying it softly. Xander looked over at the tree and thought a bit. "It's perfect." He murmured.
You looked up at Xander in confusion. "Huh?" You asked with a tilt of your head. Xander took the tree from Allen and smiled softly. "The tree, it's perfect." He then looked down at you. "Why do we need a big tree? Small ones are just as beautiful." He explained.
You thought a bit, looking at the small, light green tree, smiling a bit. "You're right... It is cute." You said, then jumped a bit. "Yay! We found our tree!" You said happily, Xander looking a bit surprised at your sudden mood swing.
Allen gave a laugh. "You guys can have it for free." He smiled.
You gave a happily laugh, jumping on Allen and hugging him. "Thank you!"

You and Xander were home. It started snowing outside and you set up the Christmas tree in the living room. You were both sitting on the ground, a box full of tree decorations next to you guys.
You both started decorating the small tree, and once it was full of ornaments and lights, you both put the box away and looked at the small, cute tree, still sitting on the ground.
You two stared at the tree, it being almost hypnotizing. Xander then glanced at you, staring for a short moment before you glanced at him, making him look away. You felt yourself grow slightly hot, but looked away.
You two sat there, but then you softly tilted your head on Xander's shoulder, still looking at the cute tree.
Xander blinked, and looked down at you, but then looked back at the tree, relaxing at the feeling...
