Meet Cole Morrison. A typical jackass that only wants to take care of himself and no one else. Not even his little sister. So, in complete defiance of his mother's wishes, he gets a job as a bike courier, if for nothing else than to piss her off. He...
Dad wanted to meet, today. The other girls came with me in case I needed them. I appreciate them doing that for me. My Dad is a scary person, even if I have this gauntlet. He's a man that's seen true cruelty before. He's spent his whole life eliminating those that made him and his loved ones suffer in the past. And now he's back...for me. There's no way that this is just a friendly visit. During my childhood, he made it clear that he didn't care for me. In the letter, he had told me to meet him at the Guild. The place where adventurers go to receive quests. Makes sense for him to naturally gravitate there. As he once told me, "Quests mean monsters, monsters mean vengeance. That is my only path". I was currently walking the streets of Planeptune, the girls on both sides of me. Ram was, as usual, clinging to my back. Although, lately I've noticed that it looks like Rom wants to do the same. I haven't asked her if she wants to yet because I don't want to make her uncomfortable. While we were walking, Nepgear spoke up.
-"So Cole, why are you so nervous about meeting your dad?" Nepgear asked.
-"He's...a scary person. It's as if I can't look him in the eyes for too long or else I'll collapse." I said.
-"That sounds troubling. Well don't worry! The four of us will be with you, all the way! Right girls?" Nepgear asked.
Rom and Ram voiced their agreement with Nepgear. Uni stayed silent however.
-"Uni? You alright?" I asked.
-"H-huh? Oh! Yeah, I'm fine! Don't worry about it." Uni said, her face turning to a slight hue of pink.

At last, we finally arrived at the Guild. I approached the front doors and took a deep breath. If my dad truly wants what I think he wants, I'm going to have to rebel against him for the first time in my life.
-"Here we go." I said, pushing open the double doors.
The whole guild went quiet as I entered, everyone stared at my Gauntlet and the girls behind me. The tension had already been elevated...but it became worse.
-"Son." A familiar voice said.
I turned to face the source.
-"Hey Dad." I said, slightly terrified.
He simply stared at me with his sword over his shoulders before saying something else.
