The next morning, I woke up and showered before eating a small breakfast. I looked at the clock and realized I was almost late! Shit! I even wanted to open that package now! Fine, I guess I'll open it on my lunch hour. I stuffed it in my bag and quickly pedaled to the post office. Thankfully, I disregarded my sense of caution and made it on time. Although I almost got hit a few times. I picked up my first set of deliveries and was about to head out before Cam stopped me.

-"Hey Cole! What's up?" he asked, fist bumping me.

-"Nothing really, nearly died again." I said, returning the fist bump.

-"So nothing new, then?"

-"Yeah, pretty much."

-"Hey, what was in that package I gave you anyway?"

-"I don't know, I haven't opened it yet you creeper." I said jokingly.

-"Alright then you tsundere!" he winked. "I'll see you after your shift. We still going to that party?"

-"Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that. Hell yeah, I'm going! Meet me here and we'll bike there. Also, I don't even know what a 'tsundere' is anyway..."

-"Okay so, you know Noire, right? CPU of Lastation? Black hair, big boobs, twintails?"

-"Yeah, I know her."

-"You ever seen her personality?"

-"Only rumors. I don't trust any of them anyway."

-"Okay well, if you're ever in proximity of her with another CPU...which is highly rare...just watch her personality. You'll see what I mean."

-"Noted, see ya man. Gotta get to work."

-"Bye."

We both pedaled in the same direction which was awkward until I had to make a turn finally.

3.5 HOURS LATER

I managed to complete all of my deliveries in the morning. Maybe I was fast or maybe there just weren't that many today. In any case, it was finally my lunch hour. I went to my private spot on the outskirts of Planeptune. I finished eating and pulled out the package from earlier. Finally, time to see what this thing is. Watch, it's gonna be like, a new earpiece or some other boring thing. I cut open the tape and was greeted by something I did not expect at all. It was like...a metal glove? Resting on a stand, was a metal glove for a left hand.

I picked it up and examined it. This doesn't look like something cheap given the custom engravings, fancy designs and just the way it looks. Curiously, I saw that it seemed to be too big for my arm. I put it on slowly, the glove providing more than enough wiggle room.
