Tormented

Entering our bedroom I see the balcony doors open. When I check, he is there on the balcony by the banister looking out across towards the lake. I walk over to him placing my muzzle under Alejandro's hand, nudging him. "Mate"

I know Crim is trying to comfort me but I am torn and only one way will it heal. Running my fingers thru his fur does not take away the fact of how I feel and I air it "I want him back Crim. He made a promise." My eyes close as I drop to my knees to wrap both my arms around Crim's neck sobbing unable to release all my force my sole desire "I WANT HIMMM BACK!!!"

Placing my head on Alejandro's back, I press him to me. Whining because I am unable to console my mate. Knowing it must come from Ruben adn Ruben alone. Ruben must awaken. The pain and rage I sense growing within my mate can consume him if Ruben does not. As if a testament to it, Alejandro stops crying, releases me and rises to his feet. He speaks to me again "It is not your fault Crim, I just don't understand why he gave up. How can we wake him Crim?" When without warning, Alejandro grabs his chest in pain "UGH!" bracing himself against the banister with his other hand. "Alejandro!"

I Wulf Speak to Estrella "ESTRELLA SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH Alejandro COME QUICK!" in an instant, she is there from a portal. I ignite now whimpering to my mate as his mother pulls him to the bamboo sofa. In this state I cannot go inside I would incinerate the furniture.

My mother's voice rings in my ear with a boom. Displaying her concern "Alejandro! WHAT WRONG! WHAT HAPPENED?!" "I dunno toti, an intense pain grabbed my chest over my heart. I can't accept Ruben is gone from me ma. It hurts too much. That's when I felt the searing pain like something was stabbing me."

As my son tells me, all doubt is removed from my thoughts, the faintest hope against any cause but this one, smashed. When he looks at me I know and am horrified. The mate bond. The mate bond is killing him slowly. I hug my son to me, but inside, my desperation grows to panic, this will not be.

Guiding him inside, tuck him into their bed as Crimson, having gained control over himself and his element, comes hurriedly inside, jumps and is beside Alejandro on the bed. I wulf speak to the medics and mystics of our pack, as well as my Beta. Filling them all in on what just happened. Summoning them to come thru a portal, they appear. After examining him and giving him a sedative, we head outside the bedroom to let him sleep and speak. Beside me is my beta and alpha. The news does not bode well with Beta. But it is to Crimson my heart breaks for.

"Without his human mate Ruben, Alejandro is suffering the effects of the mate bond alone because he will not accept just Crimson. It is killing him, Senor Alpha Cary. Alpha must find his way to break thru and awaken Ruben his human form and Ruben must return." They turn away sadly preparing to leave "or Luna accepts his mate's wulf Crimson. It is the only way."

Hearing their words with tension. I remained attentive to the medics explanation, I sigh briefly lowering my head. But even with my head lowered, the hurt and hopeless feeling spreads showing when they connect with Estrella. "I am not my human soul companion Estrella, but I am also his mate. If he can accept me in this form we can get thru this I know it. Sable has been trying to get thru to him but has not been successful. I will not lose my mate Star, he is my world as much as is Sable. If only he knew that. I will not live this second life again without him, If he is to die. Then I too will die by his side."

My chest aches seeing my spirit broken Crimson, hearing his last Wulf Spoken words, Having said that, he turns from me and gently pushes the door open heading back to Alejandro. My Wulf Speak is for him alone "then remind him my Alpha. Remind him how much he means to you.Again." I hear her, turning my head to see her gaze as she is stands in the doorway and respond "I promise by the Goddess, I will. By my mother the goddess I WILL." I continue inwards and softly leap on the bed next to him. Tenderly, I lick his face "My Alejandro I love you too. Pls dont leave me.... Again"
