Brent absent-mindedly wipes down Ruvik's lab tables.
"And she just broke up with me!"
Ruvik walks up to his intern. Brent is quietly sobbing. Ruvik wouldn't normally know what to do, but he recently read up on human emotion. Tears mean that there's a chemical imbalance in the brain. But what chemicals are imbalanced? Ruvik remembers how Brent was talking about how his girlfriend broke up with him the other day. Who is his lover? Doesn't matter. The chemical imbalance in his brain is causing Brent to feel sad. What gets rid of sadness?
Hugs.
Ruvik hugs Brent from behind. Brent immediately stops crying.
Ruvik then whispers in his ear, "It's going to be okay."
Brent turns his head towards Ruvik to thank him, but underestimates how close Ruvik is. Brent accidentally kisses Ruvik. His lips are chapped and scratchy, but Brent doesn't care. Ruvik tries to assess what new feelings are bubbling up inside him, but something is telling him to just turn his brain off and go with it. Brent turns around returning the embrace while Ruvik returns the kiss. Ruvik pushes Brent down onto the table, scattering papers everywhere. Brent doesn't care, he'll pick them up later. All that matters now is Ruvik's body on his, Ruvik's sheer dominance radiating off him like a thousand suns. Ruvik doesn't want to let go. The chemicals in his brain are off balanced, but he doesn't want them to go back to being level.

At the end of the day, Brent says that he has to go home. Ruvik goes back to working on his experiment. He has to make for all the time he spent kissing Brent. He takes a few steps back and examines the specimen. There's something missing. He grabs his handy-dandy roll of gauze. Maybe what he needs is in the outside world. He starts at the frozen yogurt place down the street. There, he sees a pretty girl crying into her fro-yo. Ruvik smiles. She's perfect. He approaches her.
"What's your name?" he asks.
"Eva," she replies through tears.
"That's a lovely name," he tells her, unaware that he is talking to Brent's ex.
"Please leave me alone," she starts getting hostile.
"Alright," he complies before sticking her with a drug. Just enough to kill her, but not enough to damage her delicate organs.
Eva starts to say something, but her eyes flutter shut. Ruvik catches her before she falls in her fro-yo. Swinging her arm around her shoulder, he's able to hold her up with one hand and carry her back to the asylum inconspicuously.
Once back at the lab, he continues his experiment, now with his new specimen.

Meanwhile, Brent goes back to hanging with the Ab Crew.
"Dude!" That One claps Brent on the back. "What's going on with your boss?"
"Oh," Brent smiles girlishly, "we made out today."
"Dude!" JjAaCoBb(I don't know anymore) exclaims, "What a legend!"
"Does she kiss well?" The Twins™ ask.
"Actually," Brent starts nervously, "it's a guy. He kisses very well though."
The Ab Crew blinks, shocked.
"His name is Ruvik," Brent continues.
"Dude," That One whispers harshly, "no homo."
"But what if I want all the homo?" Brent yells. The Ab Crew gasps theatrically.
"Dude, we didn't want to tell you this," Jaake(this is his final line anyways) states.
"But you're out of the Ab Crew," The Twins™ break the news.
"Why can't Ruvik just join the Ab Crew," Brent pleads.
The Ab Crew gets in formation, "This is the Ab Crew, not the Stab Crew."
