Chapter 7

(2 weeks later)

Hazel was now six weeks pregnant and had started morning sickness and cravings. Tony had filmed Hazel on her first day morning sickness. Once he was done recording Hazel chased him around the penthouse while everyone was laughing when Hazel started to wack him with a pillow. After Tony gets his ass handed to him by Hazel and a pillow everyone in the tower packed a bag. At 6 pm everyone boarded the Quinjet to Wakanda. Hazel sat away from everyone looking at her sonogram photos when Logan sat across to her.

"Where's the father," Logan asked.

"Not in the picture for the moment," Hazel said.

"Where is he? Did he run 'cause he didn't have the balls to be a father?"

"No, he didn't. All I'm saying is he's not in the picture for the moment."

Logan started sliding his foot up Hazel's leg in between her thighs.

"If you give me a chance I bet I can be a better father to your baby and a better boyfriend to you."

Hazel moved out of her chair way to fast that she landed on the floor. She quickly stood up and sat next to Wong who was across from Steve and Tony.

"You okay," Steve asked.

"When we do team bonding and training don't let Logan be my partner. Tony, Nat, Bruce, Clint, Thor, Wong, Shuri, Rocket, Nebula, or you be my partner but please don't let it be Logan. I'm literally begging you," Hazel told Steve.

"What happened that you don't want Logan to be your partner? Did he try something," Wong asked a hint of anger in his voice.

"He asked where the father to my baby was and when I told him that Stephen wasn't in the picture for the moment he started saying that he ran 'cause he doesn't have the balls to be a father so I rebutted by saying all I was trying to say was that he wasn't in the picture for the moment. Logan started sliding his foot up my leg in between my thighs saying that if I would give him a chance then he could be a better father to my baby and a better boyfriend to me," Hazel said.

Tears started making way down her cheeks. She wiped them away but they still kept coming.

"I really wish you were here Stephen. I need you."

I'm always here. I need you, too.

Her head snapped up as she looked around the plane. She heard Stephen's voice.

Hazel, it's me. I need you, too.

"Hazel what's wrong," Tony asked.

"I hear Stephen's voice. He's trying to talk to me," Hazel said.

Just as she said that she heard his voice again.

Hazel, it's me. It's Stephen. I need you, too.

"Try and talk to him tonight. See if he's really speaking to you."

"I'll try Uncle Tony. I'll try."

Once they landed in Wakanda Hazel was the first to get off the Quinjet running into Thor's open arms. After she hugged Thor she hugged Shuri then Nebula and high fived Rocket.

"Your room is still the same from before you left. I'll show the new people to their rooms. Tony let me know what happened on the plane from what you told him between you and Logan. His room will be far from yours," Shuri said.

"Did he also tell you that I now remember the plan how to defeat Thanos," Hazel smirked.

"You remembered," Rocket shouted.

"One, OW! Two, yes I remembered the plan. I'll tell everyone tomorrow. The fight won't happen until I'm 20 weeks so we have 14 weeks to train and bond with everyone to become a team. Everyone needs to know we'll have your back once they fight comes. Bonding we'll watch movies and play games. Training I probably won't be able to do. But I will watch over you with training. For now, my friend Shuri will show the new people to their rooms. After you get situated my Uncle Thor will come will get you from your rooms so we can do some team bonding. See ya," Hazel said walking away.

She walked into her room and smiled seeing the room was still the same from when she left. Clean and spotless. She placed her bag on the bed and laid down. Slowly her eyes started to close as she fell into a dreamless sleep.

"Stephen," Hazel sighed running into his arms.

They were in the same blue room from last time.

"Hazel. Are you okay? You still look pale," Stephen said.

"I'm fine. When you come back there's gonna be two surprises for you, Dad, and Pops. Sadly meeting with you like this doesn't show what the surprises are."

"Can you tell me?"

"Not really. But don't worry Tony is recording everything for the surprises."

"Is the plan going okay?"

"We're barely gonna start planning now. I had a premonition about the fight and when I came out of it I had been under the premonition for a minute. Being under for a minute it made me forget half the premonition. More the end of the premonition is what I forgot."

"Can you please tell me what the surprise is?"

"No, I can not."

"Did you hear me?"

"Were you saying 'I need you, too?'"

"Yep. I was using astral projection."

Hazel smiled and looked down at her feet. Her feet were disappearing.

"Either someone is walking me up or I'm waking up."

"Can you fight it, please? I haven't been able to see you for two days. Can you please fight it?"

"I can't. Wong survived. Together we found survivors and we're in Wakanda. We're gonna do team bonding and training. In 14 weeks the battle will happen and everyone will come back."

"Hazel you're disappearing."

"I'm being woken up. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hazel woke up to Steve standing over her shaking her. She waved him off and buried her head into the pillow.

"Hazel come on. You said we need to do this," Steve said.

"You guys do. I don't have to since I won't even get to fight," Hazel whispered.

"Now Hazel!"

"Why are you suddenly yelling at me?! Just 'cause I don't want to do this right now?! I just met Stephen in the same room where we always meet! He looked so sad that we were barely coming up with a plan! And now you want to yell at me?! No! You don't get to do that! You don't get to do that."

Hazel walked out of the room, passed the living room where everyone was, and out the door with Levi on her shoulders. She could Steve calling for her but she didn't acknowledge it. She just wants to be alone. Is that too much to ask for?
