A/N: SO I wrote this before I wrote Chapters 15-17. Idk why

"You can not be holding the map right! We should've been thee an hour ago!" Austin yells.

"Yes I am! How can I be holding it wrong?" I sigh. "This is why we should've just used GPS."

"We wanted to be old fashioned to make it more fun." Dawson says plainly.

"Funner isn't a word I mumble under my breath trying to figure out where we are according to the map.

"Guys, realax. I'll just go on GPS on my phone." Daisy says whipping out her phone. She taps on the screen a few times and frowns. "I have no bars." We sigh and check our phones but get the same dilemma.

"Pass me a soda." Austin says keeping his eyes fixed on the road.

"That's like your 5th one today. What's gonna happen when we run out of gas and ger stranded with nothing to drink?" I asking grabbing a Root Beer.

"Calm down. We still have water." Austin says opening it.

"What if we don't make it back fir Christmas? My parents would kill me!" Daisy asks looking around for an answer.

I look out the window and close my eyes. "Well its about 7:30 pm and tomorrow is Christmas eve, we are probably not gonna make it back in time. At least not for Christmas morning."

"Its almost midnight. Can we pull over and start again in the morning?" Austin yawns. We all nod at push our seats back grabbing the blankets we packed.

Soon our car is parked on the side of the rode in the middle of no where with 4 kids dead asleep curled up in balls with each other. And to be honest, I'm quite scared.

I just know that there are a billion missed calls and voicemails on my phone from my mom buts it not my fault there's no service out here.

I yawn and open my eyes, stretching. I really need to go pee. I figure I can just go in the woods that were right next to me. I'm to scared to go alone so I shake Austin to wake him up.

"What." He mumbles rolling over.

"I need to piss."

He sighs and rubs his eyes. "Go in the woods."

"I'm scared. You need to go with me." I hear him grumble but he gets up anyways.

"Fine." We step out of the car, he grabs the flashlight from the glove department and closes the door quietly making sure not to wake Daisy and Dawson up.

As we go down the hill we stumble a bit due to the steepness. We fo far enough that we can't see the road anymore and I do my business.

"Okay. We can go back now." I say walking over to Austin. To my surprise, he shakes his head and grabs my wrist pulling me deeper into the woods.

"Lets explore!" He exclaims. I widen my eyes.

"No! It's 3 am. Are you crazy!?"

"C'mon! There's a river down there! It'll be fun." He pulls me farther and I give up reluctantly following him.

After 10mins. We finally reach the lake or river. Whatever. And it is beautiful. There's a mini waterfall and you can here the owls around.

We stay there talking, losing track of time and eventually fall asleep. We wake up the next morning to a very mad looking Dawson and Daisy who apparently called us for a half a hour wondering where we were.
