Chapter 6

/ Aphmau's Pov \ 

Aaron took me to the kitchen and sat me down on a counter. 

Aaron sighed and shook his head. "Stay here for a minute..." He said and walked off.

I did as I was told and looked to the door. If I wanted I could escape right now and never come back but... I don't know what it is but every time I think of escape... a "pain" forms in my chest and it makes me not want to escape. 

Im still looking around the kitchen when Aaron comes back. I smile and he picks me up again. This time he caries me bridal style and I blush. 

Aaron leads me through the kitchen door and sits me down in a humongous chair in front of a table. (where the head of the house sits at the table) Aaron sits diagonal from me and just looks into my eyes. 

I stare back into his and after a few seconds I begin to feel uncomfortable. I look to the side and he immediately drops his gaze. I look back at him and he has sort of a "pained" expression on his face. 

I want to see him happy but don't know what to do... Well... whenever I talk he smiles... Maybe I'll do that!

"Umm... Are you ok Aaron?" I ask him feeling uncertain. 

Aaron lifts his head up fast and looks at me surprised. Embarrassed, I flatten my ears and crouch down in the seat a bit. 

He notices immediately and gasps. "N-no need to be embarrassed! I'm just... thinking..." He says and sighs. 

I lift my head up a bit and look into his eyes. He looks filled with sorrow and pain! I want it to stop but... how!?

I'm thinking hard about how to make him feel better when he starts to laugh a little. I look up immediately and look at him. He is trying not to but he can't help these small laughs coming out. 

He notices me looking at him with this surprised face and he laughs even more. He looks into my eyes and smiles. "You weren't talking for like 5 minutes straight so I got worried and looked up at you. You had the most confused but concentrated face I have ever seen in my entire life! It was hilarious but I tried to not laugh... guess it didn't work out..." He laughs and I join him. 

Then all of a sudden I smell something amazing! It smells like chocolate covered strawberries! I look all around the room for the source of the smell but when my eyes land on Aaron... I instantly know that he's the source of the sweet smell... 

/ Aaron's Pov \ 

I laugh and soon Aphmau laughs with me. After a few seconds I start smelling this amazing scent! It smelled like blue raspberry and cherry mixed together! (My FAVE Sour Patch Kids and Air Head AND Jolly Ranchers combo!) 

I look around the room and finally settle my eyes on Aphmau. I look at her and see that she is looking around too, she is sniffing so she must be trying to find a scent too.

She lays her eyes on me and instantly freezes, knowing what I know... 

We look into each others eyes and just stare for a while. In that short moment I finally see her eye color is an amber color and her face in perfectly smooth and shaped. I start to blush and look away. 

I hear Aphmau sigh and crouch down lower in her seat. I look to her and see above her that Ace has come out with a whole buffet of food. How did it take him 20 minutes to cook all this much!?

Ace came around to Aph's right side and placed a plate of sushi in front of her. It was a California Roll so it shouldn't be bad for her, right?

Aphmau looks down and gasps. She looks to me with pleading eyes and I nod my head yes. She gives me a huge smile and digs in. In 3 minutes flat she finished 2 plates of sushi. There was 16 rolls on each plate!
