Gideon

The Next Day

"AHH!"I screamed at the top of my lungs. "I HATE THEM! T SMUG CAPTAIN AND FIRST MATE! I HATE THAT ANNOYING BROTHER OF HERS! I HATE STUPID FAMILY! I HATE THAT STUPID SHIP! I HATE ALL OF THEM!"

"Umm," Ghosteyes said. "Even Mabel sir?"

"OF COURSE NOT," I snapped back at him. "I could never hate my beloved Mabel. It's not her fault that family of hers is twisting her brain." I leaned back into my chair. "If only I could get her away from them. Then she would love me."

"Do you really think he'll be able to help?" Ghosteyes questioned. "I mean, none of the trinkets he's given you have worked."

"Of course he can! He's just been holding out on me. Trying to get the best of me. But not today. I'm done playing games with him."

"Really? You're going to call him out on cheating you?" I sent a glare in Ghosteyes direction.

"Well of course I am. No one cheats Captain Gideon Gleeful!"

"We arrived Captain!" I stood up in my seat to see the hidden island peering through the fog. I gave a small squeal, which made Ghosteyes glance at me. I coughed to try and cover it up.

"I mean good! Take us ashore!"

We arrived on the shore of the island after about fifteen minutes. Two of his crew members were already there waiting for me. I believe the woman's name was Pryonica and the man was Paci-Fire. I never asked them how they got those names, I was too scared of the answer. As my crew pushed the walkway down I felt Ghosteyes hand land on my shoulder.

"Do you want me to come with you Captain?" I smiled at him and patted his hand reassuringly.

"No thank you my first mate angel. I can handle this." I heard his two crew member chuckle at my words. Ghosteyes gave them a glare, before nodding at me, and backing off. I walked down the walkway and stopped when I stood in front of them. Like everyone did, the two loomed over me.

"Where is he?" I said trying to sound brave.

"Same place as always." Pryonica said. "He's waiting for you. Come on." She waved for me to follow her and I did. Paci-Fire stayed behind to keep an eye on my crew, just in case. As if I'm dumb enough to ever double cross him. I thought, slightly annoyed. I quickly shook my head. Clear you're mind Gideon. Don't let him in your head.

We walked for about five minutes up a hill before we arrive at a small tent. Pryonica stop and looked at me.

"Well?" She asked. "What are you waiting for, go on." I nodded.

"Thank you."  murmured before walk through the tent door.

"Well, well, well if it isn't my favorite customer!" He stood up and waved for me to come further into the tent. "How you doin' Pipsqueak?" He asked.

  "Go-good Captain Cipher." He grinned.

"I've told you call me Bill."

"Of course. My apologies." He wave a dismisses hand.

"There's no need to apologize. We're all friends here! Please have a seat!" I quickly took the seat in the chair closest to the door. He sat back down in his chair, his desk between us. I was thankful for that. He was wearing his bright gold coat, with his black pants, boots, and captain hat. A single yellow feather poke out of his hat, and his blond hair flowed under it. If you saw him on the street you might have just seen him as a normal pirate with an interesting color choice, that is until you look at his face. He wore a black eye patch on his right eye, but instead of being shaped like a semicircle, it was shaped like a triangle. His left eye was even stranger, his entire pupil was a bright yellow with a single black slit driven through the center, like a cat. If some idiot thought there was still a chance he was human after looking at his eyes, they would know he was a supernatural being when he grinned.
