Dipper

I could still hear Grunkle Ford yelling as Bill's ship began to sail away. Xanthar still held Mabel and I tightly in his hands, as the rest of the crew went to work. Mabel and I continued to struggle, but we both knew it was no use. This Xanthar guy was stronger than any monster we had faced before, and if Bill was who I thought he was..... I shook my head and tried to focus on getting out of Xanthar's grip. I continued to glance back at the Mystery, but it wasn't long before it was just a dot in the horizon.

"Xanthar, put them down!" Suddenly Xanthar loosened his grip and Mabel and I crashed to the ground, both letting out a small yelp. I looked up and saw Bill looming over us smiling, his crew crowd behind him.

"Hey kiddos." He said cheerfully. I quickly got to my feet and tried to stand in front of Mabel, but she wouldn't let me. Instead she stood by my side, holding my hand. I relax a little bit. As much as I wanted to protect Mabel from these monsters, I couldn't help but feel comforted with her presence. Besides, if we were going to get out of this we were going to get out of this together. Bill's smiled seemed to widen.

"Aw how cute." He spread his arms out and spun around as he said "Welcome to the Mind! What do you think? Isn't she a beauty?"

"It's sucks!! The Mystery looks a thousands times better!!" Mabel yelled. She tired to take a step forward, but I quickly squeezed her hand, holding her back. Mabel and Grunkle Stan both took a 'fight first ask questions later' type of approach when it came to enemies. Though it work sometimes, it wasn't always the most ideal way to handle some situations. This was one of those times. Bill merely chuckled at her remark.

"I like your guts, Shooting Star." He said. Mabel growled at the nickname, but didn't do anything else, listening to the small warning I gave her. Bill turned to me. "What about you kid? What do you think of my ship?"

I quickly glanced around, taking my surroundings in. The ship was certainly huge, probably the biggest I'd ever seen. The sails were brilliant. They were a bright yellow, and the largest one held a triangle with an eye in the center, probably the ships logo. I looked back at Bill. We weren't here to talk about ships.

"Who are you? And why are we here?" I asked. Bill grinned.

"Straight to the point, eh Pine Tree? God, you really are just like Ford."

"He's name isn't Pine Tree!" Mabel shouted. "It's Dipper!" Bill raised an eyebrow.

"Dipper?" he asked questioningly. "Interesting name." He paused for a moment before shrugging. "I like Pine Tree better though."

"Call me whatever you like, just answer my questions." I growled. I saw an emotion light up in Bill's eye, I couldn't tell if was interest or anger. He quickly unsheathe his sword. It was in anger.

"Dipper!" Mabel cried. I flinched ready for him to drive the sword into me, but instead I heard metal digging into wood. I opened my eyes and saw that he had driven his sword into the deck. He raised his eyebrow at me.

"A little jumpy are we?" He questioned. I felt my face flush slightly in embarrassment as his crew laughed, but I refused to break eye contact. Bill smirked before he began to lean against his sword.

"The name's Bill Cipher, Captain Bill Cipher. And these lovely fellows," Bill gestured behind him. "are my crew." He turned back to us. "Shooting Star's here because we were hired by a client of mine to retrieve her. You on the other hand," Bill's smirk grew, if that was even possible. "are just a bonus." I frowned. It was clear that Bill had history with Great Uncle Ford, so I'm probably just a trophy to be used against him. I thought. But Mabel's actually cargo he's selling. But who would- But eyes widen as the realization hit me.

"Oh no." I said, pushing Mabel behind me. "You are not giving Mabel to that Gremlin."

"Wait what?' Mabel whispered in confusion.

"Oh no?" Bill said. "And who's going to stop me? You? Please. Gleeful's my best client, and I'm not going to let a brat like you ruined ruined that business relationship for me. Besides, Lover Boy's so excited to see your sister, it be a shame to disappoint him."

"That's why you kidnapped us!?!" Mabel yelled. "Because that moron can't get it through his thick skull that I don't like him!"

"Mabel." I whispered as a warning, reaching for her hand. She moved away, and step right up to an amused Bill.

"Well you can tell him this for me! He can chase me down all he wants! He can send as many monsters and creeps like you after me! Heck, he can send the whole British Navy after me! But my answer remains the same. I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN BE WITH HIM!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. I looked at Bill worryingly, as did the rest of his crew. He was smiling at throughout Mabel's whole outburst, but I could have sworn his eye turned red when she called him a creep. Mabel took in a few deep breaths before continuing. "Maybe you can get that through his thick skull." Mabel turned around and grabbed my hand. "Come on bro, let's go."

"Hold on just a minute Shooting Star." Bill said, removing his sword from the deck and using it to block Mabel's path. "While I admire your guts, I'm afraid I can't let you leave." Mabel glared up at him.

"Good thing I didn't ask permission." She said pushing his sword down. Oh no. I barely had time to event think that before I was shoved to the side. I let out a small grunt, but quickly looked back at Mabel. Bill was holding her by the neck, her feet dangling above the ground. Mabel was struggling against his grip. I quickly jumped up, but before I could go anywhere I felt someone grab the back of my shirt. I glanced back and saw Xanthar holding the collar of my shirt between his thumb and pointer finger. Just how strong is this guy? I turned back to Mabel and Bill, as Bill let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh Shooting Star," he whispered. "You have so much spirit." He brought Mabel incredible close to her face. "I like that." He let go and Mabel landed hard on the deck. I try to run to her again, but Xanthar was still holding me back. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't find any words. Without taking his eyes away from Mabel he singled Xanther to let me go. I quickly ran to Mabel's side.

"Are you ok?" I whispered. She nodded her head, and rubbed her throat.

"You know what the best thing about people with spirit is Shooting Star?" We both looked up at Bill who had moved closer to use. "It's breaking that spirit. Watching that person slowly lose hope, as their world crumbles around them. It's so much fun." He then frowned, and used his sword to lift Mabel's head. "It's a shame I can't play with you." He shrugged, his grin returning.

"Oh well," he reached down and pulled Mabel up by her hair, making her cry out in pain.

"Mabel!"

"Throw her in the brig boys." Bill said as he tossed her to some of his crew. I got up.

"Mabel!" I yelled again, running towards her. I yelped as someone yanked me back by my hair.

"Where do you think you're going Pine Tree?" Bill laughed.

"Let go of me!" I cried. "Mabel!"

"Sorry kid, but I'm afraid you and your sister aren't going to see each other anymore. I like to keep my property separate from the cargo!" Bill dragged me by my hair as he yelled at his crew. "Get back to work! We have to be back at Weridmageddon by morning!"

"Where are you taking me!?!" I screamed. I couldn't see Bill, but I could practically feel his smirk.

"Relax, Pine Tree. We're going to have some fun."
