I had yet another loving dream of Edward and it bugged the hell out of me so in the end I drugged myself to a dreamless sleep.
I was woken up when someone was banging at my door like hell had broken loose; I was not even in my senses when I opened the door to see Edward.
"What is wrong with you?" I shouted at him and was closing the door back when his foot jammed it.
"You have been sleeping a whole day, are you all right?" He asked me and he looked ... worried.
"Yes, but I'm sleepy, so go away and leave me alone."
"You really are cantankerous in the morning."
"Yeah, ok, I'm terribly tired and my whole body is aching, I can only see the bunnies in front of me and you are irritating me right now. Why were you knocking at my door like a maniac?" I asked him.
"Because, you hadn't picked up your newspaper and were not answering the bell, I thought you were dead." He said sarcastically.
"Oh, well you know I'm alive so now can I go back to sleep?"
"Yes, I will come back in the evening; I have to talk to you. How come you are sleeping like a rock?"
"I'm sleeping like a rock because of six shots and three sleeping pills." I told him and then shut the door at his face ... yet again and then slept again.
True to his word, Edward came back in the afternoon, but unfortunately for him, I was all ready awake and had gobbled up three cups of black coffee. He took one look at my miserable look and laughed,
"How many shots did you have?" He asked.
"Six." What was the point of lying?
"You had six shots and then since you couldn't sleep you ate three pills?" He asked me in amazement.
"Crazy, aren't I?" God he almost seemed angry.
"Are you ok?" He demanded.
"Yeah, except for the fact that my head is aching like my brains are gonna burst out and that I probably just wanna sleep again, I'm good." I tried to smile but failed miserably.
"You are one harebrained woman." He remarked and I got angry, he thought my brains were turned to mush.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"What, I cannot come to your house now?" He demanded.
"Considering the fact that you annoyed me, fought with me and then did not speak to me the whole day, promised that you'll stay with me and then din't, I think the answer is pretty obvious." The words flew out of my mouth and for an instant Edward's lips curled up and he looked pleased, but it went away so quickly I thought I had imagined it.
"It bother's you?" He asked me amusedly.
"No, go to hell." I retorted.
"I know it does, and it bothers me too." He said.
"What do you want from me?" I growled at him, I had been thinking of him since yesterday, thinking how I had defied and embarrassed him in front of Shanelle, how I had ignored him and I wanted to apologise, but he had hurt me too, he had done the same things to me.
"I wanted to say how sorry I was for what happened yesterday, in the car and at the wedding." I was a little shocked to hear his apology because I hadn't expected it from him and those were supposed to be my lines.
"What happened?" I mumbled.
"I'm sorry I annoyed you, I'm sorry I was angry at you, I'm sorry I called you stubborn, I'm sorry I ignored you, I'm sorry I promised to stay with you and did not ..." I had never heard so many sorry's in my entire life so I cut in,
