Chapter Twelve

When I woke up the first thing I saw was Edward's face looming over mine and looking weirdly.

"Hey, are you all right?" He demanded and I thought I was dreaming so I closed my eyes. My eyes flew open when he slapped me hard.

"Hey what was that for?" I yelled. Relief swept over his features and he laughed at me.

"Sorry for that, what happened to you?" He asked me.

"She fainted when she heard that Rony left MANU." Andy told for me and the memory of Ronaldo in a white jersey came back and I felt my heart flutter a little at that.

"Oh God! That traitor." I shouted and then burst into tears. Edward was so startled by the reason that he just kept on staring at me when I wept.

"Why are you crying?" He demanded.

"What...are...you...doing...here?" I asked him between multiple sobs and I saw a muscle jump in his jaw.

"Andy called me; told me you fainted." He said and I glared at Andy, he left the room.

"Now, tell me why are you crying?" He asked me with patience now and I sniffed the tears back.

"Ronaldo left MANU for Madrid." I said sadly and the tears took over again. I got up from the bed and moved to the window, Edward followed.

"Ok, Ronaldo left, so why are you crying?" he lifted his brow and I gave me the most incredible look.

"Because I love him and I cannot imagine him in a white jersey. I love red and he is a red devil."

"No, technically he was a red devil."

"Oh god!" Edward was right and I again I started crying. He came over to me and hugged me tightly.

"Oh baby, don't cry." He said soothingly and pulled me closer to him.

"I love him so much, why would he do this to me? I can't believe he left MANU for 80million." I sobbed and he whistled at the amount. And I hit him in the chest.

"Sorry, but dude, that's a lot of money." He muttered in my ear and the whole three-weeks without him disappeared. I was in his arms and he was here again. He was still with me when I wanted him and I was so happy to be near him. His scent had been driving me crazy and I leaned towards his neck and sniffed in his scent. His perfume filled my nostrils and I sighed.

"Samantha, you are one stupid lady." He whispered. And that hurt so I pushed him away.

"No I'm so not stupid."

"Yes you are, you're crying because Ronaldo is leaving MANU for another club." He said calmly.

"No, I'm crying because I love him and I had a dream to see him play at Old Trafford and now I will not be able to see him there as a red devil."

"And that is because of me." He said silently.

"Samantha, can I ask you something?" He said and I nodded at him. I was still fighting back tears.

"Why didn't you go when Nick offered to take you to see a match?" He asked me calmly. I had forgotten about that vow and now I wanted to tell him the truth.

"That is because I wanted the first time to be with you."

"Why?" His voice was strained.

"Edward that was supposed to be the best experience of my life and I wanted to share it with you." I whispered and the tears flew freely now.

Oh god! The two men I love in the world were breaking my heart and will leave shatters only. I had to get both of them out of life and I wasn't going to be happy in doing that.
