Chapter 14: To think Aerie was friends with her...is a mistake

Because of midterm exams, projects and other stuffs that I have to do. That is why I haven't updated that time!! T_T  I'm really sorry!!!

Abigale woke up with an explosion of some sort. She expected to find herself lying in a bed. But she was mistaken. Hands and feet were tied by a black smoke. And she found herself floating above her beloved school’s rooftop inside a large, black… orb?

“What is happening here?” She started to panic a bit. “How do I get out of here?!” Then something exploded, it was the place where the door to the rooftop was located. Then she heard someone laughing so hard.

When the dust clouds faded a bit, she saw him. She was disgusted by his gray skin and his weird clothes because it was so out of the season. Then there was knocking on the orb she was in on the right side. When she slowly looked at it, she shrieked. She saw Aerie smiling and waving at her. She’s floating?  Abigale thought. No. She was sitting on something long… a sword, maybe. And what’s with her gothic lolita outfit?!

“Hold out your hand to me.” Aerie said with a lower voice as she did the same.

“Why?” Abigale said.

“To get you out of course.” Aerie’s smile faded and changed into a serious one.

“What if I fall? I don’t want to die yet!”

A vein pulsed in her temple. “Who said that you are gonna die in this kind of place? Or do you like to stay here and die?” She smirked like a vampire.

“F-Fine!” Abigale closed her eyes did what she was told. When she opened it a bit she was out of the orb was sitting on another sword like Aerie’s.

“Don’t utter a sound.”  Aerie warned. Then a portal appeared in front of them with Anzie on the other side, waving.

“Please take care of her. You know what to do with her.” Aerie whispered to avoid ‘him’ from hearing. Though even if she talked normally he can’t hear him over his vexed laughter, but just to be sure.

“I will and please kill that demon.” Anzie looked at him. “His laughter is so annoying.”

“Oh, I’m so going to kill demon. I thought transferring schools would lessen my job as an exorcist. Even just temporarily. But I was wrong. They just keep coming.” sighed Aerie.

“Wait what will she do to me?” Abigale looked pale.

Aerie just smirked. “You’ll see.” Aerie leaned closer to her sword which Abigale was shakily sitting on it; she whispered some words and the sword went through the portal. When Abigale jumped off of it, the sword disappeared.

“Be careful!” Anzie waved good bye as the portal shrinks. Aerie waved back until the portal vanished. Her sword also vanished and slowly felled in the ground with a soft thump of her shoes.

“Yo!” Aerie said calmly while doing a peace sign. John Claine haphazardly turned around and made a surprised expression.

“You’re still alive?!” He said.

‘What? You think you could kill that instantly?”  Aerie provoked him. She placed her hands on her hips.

“B-but…you…I…kill…” John can’t construct his sentence because he failed already twice. Then he remembered something.

“Hmph! Let’s see about that!” He raised his axe and it glowed. Then a black orb appeared on top of them. But something’s missing inside of it.

“What?!” said John. “Where is she?!”

“Who?” Aerie tilted her head by a few degrees. She acted that she didn’t know who it was.

“You’re friend! The one with blonde hair and all! Ah! And with maids too!” He looked at her.

“I don’t know who you are talking about.” Aerie said bluntly. Her smile decreased until it was gone. To think I’m friends with her? What foolishness is this?!  Her katana appeared in her hand and she pointed the blade at him.

“Let’s finish this ‘cause I’m busy. Don’t waste my time.” said Aerie.

“Agree. Let’s not waste our time talking.” John gets more serious and angry this time because the part of his plan failed.

“I gonna eat you all up!” Aerie licked her lips. Then their blades clashed together. With lightning speed...
