PHA POV

“What are we?” Yo asked out of the blue. I can’t really say it was out of the blue because I’m sure he was thinking about it for a while, just as I was.

“I like you.” I said moving over to the bed and laying next to him. “I like you a lot. So much that I think I’m falling in love with you, and I don’t think I can stop before it’s too late. Either that or I just don’t want to stop.” I explained as I took his hand in mine, intertwining our fingers together. Yo laughed and turned to face me.

“I like you too. The exact same way that you like me. I like when you’re around me. I like when you talk to me. I like when you smile at me, or just when you smile in general. I like when you kiss me. I like when you touch me. Whether it’s just my hand or my arm or any another part of me.” He said giving me a devilish smile. “It took me a little bit to come to terms with it, but I really like you. I want to kiss you, and only you.” I laughed and turned on my side to caress his cheek with my hand.

“What does that make us?” I questioned. Yo sighed and smiled.

“Let’s take one step at a time. Going too fast will ruin everything. We’ve already had sex.” Yo said laughing. I laughed too and nodded in agreement.

“I agree. So, if you wanna take it slow, let's go on a date.” I suggested. Yo smiled wide and nodded.

“That sounds really good.” Yo said. I nodded in agreement, smiling.

“If we are taking things slow, does that mean that we can’t kiss?” I questioned. Yo chucked and shook his head. “Good.” I said smiling before leaning forward and kissing him deeply. He took his hand from mine and wrapped his arm around my neck, pulling me closer to him.

The sound of the door made us pull apart. Yo groaned loudly. I looked at him and chuckled. He shrugged.

“What? I hate that people keep interrupting.” He said as I went to answer the door. It was, you guessed it, Ricky.

“What’s up, Ricky?” I asked forcing a smile onto my face. He wasn’t smiling until he seen Yo walk up behind me. His smile faded though when Yo sighed hugged me. This time he wsa not acting. It was real. So real.

“Hey, just came to ask if you wanted to hang out.” He said putting his smile back on his face but continued to stare at Yo.

“Oh. Pha and I were about to go on a date.” Yo said looking up at Ricky with a, fake, look of sadness.

“Oh.” Ricky said dropping his smile. “Maybe next time.” He suggested. I nodded.

“Maybe next time. We gotta go now.” Yo said letting go of me and putting his shoes on. I did the same. We rushed out the door and tried to get away from Ricky as fast as we could. Once we made it the car we busted out laughing.

“At least we don’t have to pretend now.” Yo said chuckling. I nodded and smiled at him.

“You’re right.” I said leaning over to finish the kiss that was so rudely interrupted.

It took us a little while to decided where to eat, but soon enough we were at a small diner, not far away from the mall where we were going later.

“You don’t care that we aren’t going to some big fancy restaurant?” I asked. Yo laughed and shook his head.

“Are you kidding me?” He questioned like I was psycho. “I love this place. And just because we aren’t going to some fancy restaurant doesn’t mean it can still be romantic.” He said grabbing my hand across the table and placing his hand over it. I chuckled softly and looked down.

I could feel my cheeks heat up and I mentally slapped myself. Why did I act this way around him? I was supposed to be that person who was tough, but no, I couldn’t be around him and not smile or blush. He was turning me soft. Well, I mean he did make me hard sometimes.

After eating we decided to go and walk around the mall for a little bit. We went into a couple of random stores, nothing really to exciting. We were about to walk into a small sweets shop when Yo pulled me backwards, keeping me from entering.

“Do you not want cake?” I asked confused. He chuckled and pointed inside the store to two people sitting there laughing.

Beam and Forth. They were clearly here on a date. The way they were staring at each other. Laughing with each other. And, well, there's a kiss. This was definitely a date. We laughed before walking in. We didn’t go up to the counter to order something, instead, we went to the table Beam and Forth were sitting at.

“Good afternoon.” I said as we approached the table. Beam, who was currently choking on his drink looked up at us in surprise.

“Pha, Yo. What are you guys doing here?” Beam asked. Forth chuckled nervously. I laughed and sat down next to Beam.

“We could ask you two the same question.” I said smiling wide. Forth chuckled and looked between Yo and me.

“What are you two doing here?” He asked repeating Beam’s question in a more curious manner.

“We are on a date.” Yo blurted before I had the chance to answer. I thought he wouldn’t be okay with people knowing, but I guess I was wrong. I smiled wide and him and nodded.

“Indeed we are.” I said confirming it. Beam and Forth dropped their jaws.

“You two are on a date?” Forth questioned. Yo nodded.

    “That’s what we just said.”

“We answered your question so now you answer ours. What are you two doing here?” I questioned. Forth and Beam sighed in defeat.

“On a date.” Beam said quietly. Yo and I high-fived each other smiling wide. We didn’t even have to pressure them and they broke.

    They were so cute.
