Being back on earth was a dream come true for the paladins of Voltron. Shiro got married, Pidge is building new things, Keith has his dog and his mom, Hunk is Gordan Ramsey, and lance is on a farm- yeah no not happening I'm changing this- Lance is on earth helping out with rebuilding things that got destroyed during the last battle between Voltron and the glara. Night time was coming close and Lance had finished for the day.
"Hey lance. Come with me," Keith motioned for Lance to follow him.
They got to a hill where you could see the sun set over the town. Lance smiled, still sad over Allura's death. They all were. Lance touched his Altean markings and sighed. Keith gently grabbed Lance's hand and he motioned at the sky. Lance looked up and saw the stars and the full moon. Sure, they were in space and could see the stars all the time but Lance still loved it. Lance smiled at Keith and hugged him tightly, a few tears escaping his eyes. Keith was crying too. Allura was also his friend. Keith knew lance needed this, he needed to see what Allura died for. Lance understood but it still hurts. Keith held lance as he cried for the rest of the night.
Keith knew lance would need time to heal, and when he is ready Keith will be there. To be more than a friend to him.
For now they'll just stargaze.
This was short but I like it. Season 8 stabbed my heart, set it on fire, stomped on it, threw it into the depths of hell and then tried to give it back. *sighs* anyways I hope you enjoy.
