Admitting Mistakes

Y/N's pov

I walked along side Blake as we walked back to my... our house. She held my hand in her own as she had a small blush on her face.

Me: You sure you're ready?

Blake: Yeah, as long as you're here with me

Me: I ain't leaving anytime soon

Blake: I'm glad... although...

She frowned slightly as her extra ears were smushed under a hat, they wriggled underneath and was obvioulsy uncomfortable

Me: It's all i could do

Blake: I guess, it's just itchy

Me: How about i rub them better when we get back?

Blake: ...O-Okay

Timeskip

We made it back as Blake stood by the door nervously, i clutched her hand tightly which gave her some confidence.

She unlocked the door and stepped inside as i peaked over her shoulder. Ruby, Weiss and Yang all looked to her in suprise before basically tackling her into a hug.

Blake stood there shocked before hugging them back as a smile appeared on my face, i stepped past them as they stayed like that.

Yang: I'm sorry Blake

Weiss: We didn't take what you wanted into consideration

Ruby: I was a bad leader... and a horrible friend

Blake: It's okay... i'm sorry too

They all they go of eachother as Blake wiped a tear from her eye, she took off her hat and released her ears.

Ruby turned to me nervously and shuffled slightly, i sighed before going up to her amd placing a hand on her shoulder

Ruby: I'm sorry for what i said...

Me: It's alright... you're all happy so that's all that matters

Ruby: Thank you

I took my hand off her shoulder before Blake came over to me. She hugged me tightly as i returned it

We seperated although the placed a hand on my arm and looked to the others with a shaky smile

Blake: I'd like to stay with Y/N although... if i can i'll visit you

Ruby: That'd be nice

Weiss: Indeed

Yang: Hmm...

Yang looked between the two of us and placed a hand on her chin, Blake let go of me and watched Blake awkwardly.

Blake: W-What?

Yang: *Gasp* You two fuc-

I rushed over and placed a hand over her mouth as she pointed towards us, taking mg hand off her mouth she nervously chuckled before scratching the back of her head.

Blake had a huge blush on her face as i sighed, going over to Blake i placed a hand on her head and rubbed her ears making her shudder.

Me: Blake and i have decided to begin dating, isn't that right Blake?

Blake: *quiet purring*

Me: See, she's happy with me and i'm happy with her

Sweeping her off hee feet she jumped although i continued to pet her which kept her from speaking out about it.

Me: Excuse us

I walked down the halls and made it to my bedroom with Blake in my arms, my broken window had been fixed some how.

Shrugging i placed Blake down as she pouted, she crossed her arms and turned away making me chuckle.

Blake: Why did you do that...?

Me: I said i'd rub your ears

Blake: I didn't think you'd just do it there

Me: Would you like me to do it now?

Blake: W-Well...

Blake's pov

?: Well lookie here

I turned around to see Y/N's ex, she stood there with a smug look on her face as she placed her hands on her hips.

?: I knew that you'd leave him too

Me: Why did you leave him?

?: Are you kidding me? He's boring and kept moping over his pet

Wait what? She left him because... his pet died?

Me: That's... so shallow

?: Oh sure, take the moral high ground

Me: I can take the high ground, because i never left him.

?: Your loss

She walked away as i stood there stunned, why did Y/N even date her?

Me: Y/N

Y/N: Yeah?

He turned his head as he peaked over fron the sofa, i went over and sat next to him as he watched me.

Me: I ran into your ex today

Y/N: Oh... what happened?

Me: She thought that i dumped you and told me why she left you

Y/N: S-She did huh

I placed a hand on his shoulder as he turned away

Me: Why didn't you tell me?

Y/N: I don't know... maybe it's because you thought i'd be weak...

Me: We all have emotions, we all care about things.

I sat up and kissed his cheek, a smile appeared on his face before he rested his head on my shoulder.

Wrapping my arm around his shoulder, he sighed before moving closer to me

Y/N: Her name... i called her Till. She was a cat

Me: Really?

Y/N: Yeah, guess i have a soft spot for them

Me: How did she...

Y/N: Age. I had her since i was a kid but...*Sigh* i guess it was her time

Me: If you want... i c-could be y-your...

A blush steadily rose onto my face before i turned away and hid my face in my hands to hide my embarressment.

Y/N moved and wrapped his arms around my waist before kissing my cheek as my ears twitched

Y/N: There's no need to go that far Blake... i don't want another cat. I just want you
