Y/N's pov

I stood on the ship as it moved through the water, kids ran past merrily as i spotted someone dresses similarly to me.

Sighing i lent on the hand rail and stared out at the ocean, this is guard duty? I'm not really doing much...

?: Traveling alone?

I turned to see the ship captain talking to someone hidden from sight... damn eye patch! He put his hands up as i heard a weapon clink.

Captain: Now, now. No threat here. Just here to chat

?: And why is that?

The person he was talking to, their voice sounded distinctly feminine but i won't assume, in this day and age i could probably be linched for assuming gender

Captain: Well *sigh* Not many people travel by boat on their own. It can be quite a lonely voyage.

He put his hands down and lent on the handrail as i continued to watch on

Captain: But i found those that do, tend to have the more... interesting stories

I heard some heels clack against the floor before i saw their shadow , they wore a long coat that's for sure

?: Maybe it's just better for some people to be alone

The kids ran past then which startled the person... what have they got to hide?

The Captain shifted slightly and chuckled at their reaction

Captain: Maybe. But with your paranoia i think a few friendly faces wouldn't hurt.

?: Who says i'm paranoid?!

Jeez, they went from 0 to 100 really quickly.... but they definitely aren't a good liar. The captain laughed again and held his stomach at their reaction yet again

Captain: No one, dear. No one. I'll tell you what, we had someone like you abroad a few days ago. He was mysterious

?: What did he look like?

At least i know for a fact that the person he's talking to is female

Captain: Well he had this ratty poncho on, an eyepatch and one arm. Strangest thing was he had his daughter with him... i'll leave you be now

Oh, he's talking about me... well i did tell him Saiyaka was my daughter so i can't blame him for saying that.

He began to walk off and to my direction but he turned around one last time

Captain: But uh, fair warning: these trips can be awfully boring.

He walked away and past me with a wink before i saw a... black ribbon. It began falling to the water so i placed my drink down.

Pulling up my eyepatch i replaced it's position before doing the same with my drink. Now i stood where i was before and held the ribbon in my palm

Why would someone want to get rid of this?

Timeskip

As the sun hid behind the clouds and the sky was tinted orange i walked around the deck and looked over some people.

I saw the cloaked figure standing near a railing before i heard a weapon being drawn.

?: Who's there?!

They ran off before the ship rocked from some turbulent waves, a moment later there was a massive Grimm sticking out the water as i looked on in shock

Sailor: RED ALERT!

Sirens rang as i continued to stare at the Grimm in dismay, how the hell did that sneak up on us!? It roared before the Captain told people to get to their battle stations.

A person in a long white coat with black hair jumped off the ship and began fighting the massive Grimm... she almost looks like

The ship rocked as she landed back on the deck and the Grimm began manoeuvring around the ship. I went above us before diving into the water as cannons popped out.

The woman jumped at it again and hit at the Grimm to no avail, the cannons fired ad she was thrown off it and i gritted my teeth

It grew wings and flew out the water! The flaps from it's wings sent me skidding back a little before i drew my sword

It dodged around cannon fire before the cloaked figure jumped off the woman, they threw off their cloak to reveal a guy in a button up shirt and jeans.

He created clones of sorts so i pulled up my eyepatch and waited for the right opportunity, the guy was thrown off as the woman went and caught him.

They came back as lightning was fired at the woman and the guy appeared in front of her, using my semblance i took his place and activated the dust on my sword.

Holding my sword out the lightning infused into mine before i pulled it to my side and slashed forward.

The wave of lightning went flying towards it and electrocuted it, the ship went charging forward as the Grimm writhed and twitched.

It broke free and followed the two at they hopped across rocks protruding from the ocean, i watched carefully before following along with them.

For some reason my mobility his really high here, it stopped in front of the as they froze before i lept from above, bringing my sword down it's wing.

I threw my sword up before taking the guys place and kicking myself off the rock, holding my arm back i... threw my left arm forward?

Catching my sword,it sparkled with balje lightning, i slashed the other wing before the ship rammed into it. The cannon killed it as the guy caught up with the woman.

Looking down to my arm i saw i had my left one back, it looked skeletal and was purple. The strangest thing was in the palm sat crackling black lightning.

It disappeared before i shook my head and sheathed my sword, looking down to the pair i saw the girl had slapped the guy.

Wait a minute...

Timeskip

The monkey faunas guy, called Sun, spoke to passengers as i stood at the top hand rails and watched to the two, there's no doubt about it... That’s Blake

Sun: You'd think they’d never seen a fight before...

Blake: What are you doing here, Sun?

Sun: Diggin' the new outfit, by the way. Never did like the bow

He pointed to her exposed ears before i sighed and had enough, thinks he can get away with flirting with my girlfriend...

Jumping from the top railing i landed by the two as they looked to me confused, thank God i have this hood on

Sun: Oh hey, Blake look. It's they guy who helped out with the Grimm

Blake: Don't try and avoid this! Have you been following me!?

Sun: I saw you run off. The night Beacon tower fell...

She looked shocked as i came to a realization, that’s what Kali ment by was...

Sun: Once you landed in Vale, you made sure everyone was okay and then you just took off without saying anything.

I thought we went over this... that she'd stop running away, Blake turned and leaned against the hand rails

Blake: I had to. You wouldn’t understand.

Sun: No i get it, i know exactly what you’re doing. You're going on a one woman rampage against the White Fang!

Blake looked hopeful for a moment before her expression contorted to anger

Blake: What?!

I held my hand out in front of her as she turned to me before i sighed

Me: She's going home

Sun: Is she?

Blake: How do you know that!?

I pulled off my hood as she looked to me in shock as i smiled

Blake... Y/N?
