Y/N's pov

I sat out on the balcony as Blake leaned against the hand rail, looking at the door inside.

Saiyaka had fallen asleep and was on my lap so in reality, unless i wanted to be a massive dick i cant move.

?: You know, you can go in and say hi

Looking up i saw Kali walking towards Blake with a tray of tea in her hands.

Blake: I don't want to bother him

Kali: A father's never too busy for his daughter

Blake rubbed her arm as i watched on, she needs this

Blake: Not all of my friends would agree with you on that

Kali walked closer to Blake before kissing her cheek and handing her the tea tray

Kali: Here

Blake: What? Where are you going?

Kali: You've never been very talkative, but that boy you brought sure loves to run his mouth. However i think i'll keep Y/N and Saiyaka some company

Blake let out a sigh as the tray shook slightly, she opened the sliding door as Kali came over and sat next to me.

Me: Is this really for the best?

Kali: You've got a lot to learn about being a parent

Me:... I'm not a par-

Kali: But you are, whether you know it or not Saiyaka has become quite attached to you. She views you as her father

Looking down to the sleeping girl, her ears twitched happily as she smiled in her sleep...

Me: You're right... i don't know the first thing about being a parent

Kali: Well, you need to know when to be there for them and when they need to make their own decisions

I looked up to her as she wore a knowing smile, i chuckled before brushing the hair out of Saiyaka's face

Me: You must be some kind of wizard or something

Kali: No, i just know what to say

?: Could you two keep it down? I'm trying to listen

We turned surprised to see Sun with his ear against the door, i sighed before gently scooping Saiyaka in my arm and placed her where i was sitting.

Going to Sun i drew back my foot before kicking him as the Patio door fell over with him.

Sun: WAAH!

Blake: Sun!?

Grabbing him by the ankle i smiled to Blake and Ghira

Me: Don't mind us, just taking out the trash

Timeskip

Following a spy we hopped across trees before they stopped and looked to Blake, the tree rustled above them before Sun jumped out

Sun: Gotcha!

He dove at them but the spy jumped away making him miss, i sighed before going past him

Sun: Hey, wait up!

Blake: Don't let her out of your sight!

Jumping off a tree i landed on a rooftop and followed her across it as Blake wasn't to far behind, she slid down a sloped roof and landed her feet in a puddle.

The water came up so i quickly used my semblance, appearing next to her i went to grab the Spy but she slid under some piping.

Glaring at her i watched her skin change colour as she pulled out her weapon and aimed it at me.
