Chapter 15

In the morning Deepika receives calls from Siddharth's parents, Katrina, Saif and her mum. They all arrived in New York and wanted to meet Siddharth so Deepika told them to come to New York hospital ward 20. Deepika went back in the ward where Siddharth was gone she was shocked and asked the nurse where he was, she told him that he's getting x-rays, CT spans and other tests done. So Deepika waited in the waiting room finally everyone came, Deepika started crying, Deepika's mother in law hugged her and said everything will be ok don't worry have trust in god.

The nurse came to the waiting room and said, "the patient is back in his room you can go and meet him now but a few people at a time, Siddharth's parents and Katrina went in first, Siddharth's mother cried and kissed her son and asked if he was ok, he replied and said, "Yes mum I'm fine".

Katrina hugged her brother and said, "Idiot you scared us all and poor Deepika was all alone".

"Deepika?! Who's that?" he asked.

Deepika's mother came in and said, "Beta are you ok now?".

"Yes auntie I'm better" he smiled.

He looked at Katrina and said, "who is this auntie?".

Deepika walked in with her brother saif, Deepika then went beside Siddharth and said, "Did you sleep well?!".

"Hmm yeah..." he looked confused.

Saif then said, "Hey how are you feeling now mate?!".

"Yeah I'm much better thank you" he replied still looking confused.

When all of a sudden Siddharth shouted in pain aaaaahh his head was hurting, Deepika ran to him and help him lay back down and fixed his pillows he said, "thank you!".

Siddharth's parents told Deepika to go home and rest as she been here all day before laying she says, "I need to see what came in the reports!".

Siddharth started worried why she wanted to see the reports and said, "Excuse me who are you?" he said.

Deepika looked at him shocked, "Hmm Deepika?!".

The doctor came in and said, "Mrs. Malhortha the reports have came in I would like you to come with me so I can discuss it with you!".

Deepika and Katrina went with the doctor who took him to his cabin and said, "Mrs. Malhortha, Mr. Malhortha has lost his memories not all but just from the past 2-3 years we don't know when he will get his memory back maybe in a week, months, years or never!".

Deepika started crying and said, "Doctor we have only been married for a year and we met 2 years ago but he doesn't seem to remember me! she kept crying!".

"Oh No Mrs Malhortha you can't in anyway tell him that your married to him! he will get a really bad shock and May never get his memory back and have serious brain damage, you will have to make sure he doesn't get any stress in any shape and form and especially no shock!".

Deepika couldn't control herself from crying, Katrina hugged her and said, "Everything will be ok, don't worry".

The doctor then said, "We are discharging Mr. Malhortha today you can take him home".

Deepika and Katrina went back to the ward and all the family came out so Katrina told the family about what the doctor had said and decided that if Siddharth asks who Deepika is, they say that she's a nurse will look after him until he gets better.

They went back home and the house were decorated it had welcome back banner and balloons everywhere Siddharth was tired so Deepika took him to his room and put him to sleep. She was about to lie down beside him but realised that he could get shocked so she just slept on the floor.
