Chapter 16

Sidharth woke up early and went to the bathroom, he notices Deepika's sleeping on the floor and woke her up.

"What are you doing?! how long have you been here for?" he shouted.

"I'm your nurse and because your still quite serious, I have to be with you at all times, your mother told me to sleep there" she said.

"Ok then" he looked at her awkwardly.

He went downstairs to have breakfast which Deepika went to the bathroom to freshen up, she also went downstairs to have breakfast. Sidharth's mother and Katrina asked Deepika how she is and how did she sleep?

"Yeah I'm fine thank you and yes I slept like a baby" she smiled.

"That's good, Sidharth see the sofa in your room let Deepika sleep there as she has look after you 24/7 at all times" Sidharth's mother replied.

"Ok mum I want to go to work today" he said.

"Ok you can go but Deepika has to go with you" she replied.

Katrina took Deepika to a side and said, "What's going to happen in work?!".

"Don't worry I told everyone yesterday about Sidharth's condition and that nobody should tell him that he's married and that I'm his wife!".

"Thank god Deepika" she said in relief.

Sidharth quickly got ready and starting looking for his briefcase, files and laptop. Deepika walked in and gave him everything he needed, Sidharth looked at Deepika shocked and said "How do you know where everything is?!".

"Your mother told him" she said.

"Ok..... let's go" he replied.

They both got into the car and had an awkward journey, they finally arrived at the office and everyone said, "Welcome back Mr Malhortha how are you feeling now?".

"Yes I'm fine thank you" he replied.

"Hey Mrs Mal......." The worker paused.

"Malik! Mrs. Malik" she quickly replied.

Sidharth looked at her Deepika awkwardly, he then said to her "So what are you going to do while I work?".

"Look after you" she replied.

"But I'm fine now, you can go" he replied.

"No your not! you just got out of hospital, how could you tell me to leave you like this Sid!" she shouted.

She realised what she just done and felt really guilty what was she going to say to Sidharth why does she cares so much about him and why she calls him Sid if he's only her patient.

"Wow! hmm I don't know what to say your quite concerned about me aren't you? even more worried than my mother" he looked at her confused.

Umm I'm a nurse I have to be concerned about my patients if I don't then what's the point of being a nurse if can't look after my patients" she replied.

"Ok..." he replied.

He went to his desk and started typing away while Deepika cleaned his cabin and sorted it out, Sidharth noticed that and said, "Why are you cleaning and sorting stuff? your a nurse why are you doing all this?" he said.

"Well I have nothing else to do, this way I'm actually doing something and looking after you at the same time" she replied.

"As you wish" he replied.

Deepika was too busy cleaning and sorting files and other stuff while Sidharth was working, all of sudden Sidharth felt pain in his head and shouted in pain. Deepika quickly went beside him, grabbed his arms and took him to the sofa and got him to lie dow.n

She massaged his head and gave him medicine, he lay down for a bit until he got better but he had to go to the toilets so she took him there while she stood outside. A worker and the receptionist came and said, "Wow Mrs. Malhortha you're amazing, you're looking after you husband while he's unwell and he doesn't even know your his wife hopefully he gets better and remember everything very soon" they said.

"Yes hopefully please pray for him" she said.

Sidharth came out of the bathroom and looked at Deepika, the worker and receptionist awkwardly, Deepika then said, "Ok thank you, bye".

They walked away, Deepika helped siddharth and lay him down on the sofa while she massaged his head when all of sudden he said, "Why do I feel like I already know you, your face, voice and touch and everything else why do I feel I've known you for a long time and we share some sort of relationship".

"Ummm you don't feel well just relax and fall asleep" she replied while getting up.

She was about to walk away when suddenly Sidharth dragged her arm and said, "Don't leave!".

Deepika looked at him shocked and said, "Ok".

She sat beside him well he fell asleep on the sofa, it was nearly time to go home so she woke him up and said, "Let's go".

He replied, "Ok"

They arrived home, Katrina was waiting for them beside the door, "Siddharth look who's here?" she said.

"Karan!" shouted Sidharth.

They both hugged each other and Karan said, "I came as soon as I got the news about your accident, how are you now?".

"I'm much better now" he replied.

As Deepika walked past, she fainted before falling to the ground Karan got her and put her on the sofa, Katrina came and said, "OMG bhabhi! What happened?!".

Sidharth then said, "What did you say Katrina?!".

Katrina ran and got a glass of water and splashed water in on Deepika, she wasn't getting up so she called the family doctor.

The doctor came and took a blood tests and a few more tests, he came back after a while and said, "The patient has very low blood pressure and the reason may be stress, I'm giving you these medicine 1 day and night and she'll regain conscious within an hour".

Deepika's phone was vibrating, Sidharth picked it up and seen 678 text messages, 55 missed calls and over 94837 notifications from social networks and email.

He was about to put her phone down when she received a text messages it said, "Hey Deepika how are you? How are you coping I know it must be hard for you but everything will ok very soon, hopefully Sid will regain his memory and finally remember you

Your love for each other will grow stronger. Take care of yourself and please don't stress".

Siddharth thought to himself what was Deepika stressed about, he kept thinking and then remembered that Deepika is always worried about him but why he was only a patient then why did she care so much? And why did Katrina call her Bhabhi and why did the person in the text say, hope Sid regains his memory".

When did I lose my memory why didn't anyone tell me and how does this person know this and why is she discussing it with Deepika!

Sidharth was trying to remember who Deepika was? His head was hurting very much, he held his head and started losing his balance. Deepika finally regained conscious and the first thing she did was look for Sidharth when she looked over to him she saw that he was holding his head and looked in very much pain without caring about herself she ran to him and held him and put him on the sofa. Sidharth kept looking at her when all of sudden Karan punch d his arm and said' "Stop staring it's rude".

"Oye Sidharth got his blood tests and drips from that arm and you punched it" Deepika said angrily.

"Sorry I forgot" he replied.

Sidharth then said, "Deepika?! I remember you, you are Varun's childhood friend aren't u? And we did a few dance performances together".

Deepika smiled and said, "Yes you remember, you're getting your memory back".

"Memory back?!" He said.

"Yeah you have losted some of your memory, you have a lot to remember but I can't tell you because you will get a shock and get very ill again and that's something I can't risk" she replied.

"Ok then".
