It was the last day of college. Nathan was trying not to cry. I was the same. The thought of him not being there to talk to or to cuddle struck me. Yes I got in to Harvard. Go me.
Heather and Tom were balling their eyes out at the thought of breaking up. They had been friends since they were in nappies and now they were so close, they had to part. Heather and Tom were in love with other and had made out several times. But please, Heather describing it to me and Sally once was painful enough. I felt so bad for them, but worse for Nathan. He was trying to act ok for my sake. But when the last bell rung, our last kiss, I could barely hold it all inside.
"Nathan swear to me that we'll Skype. Like loads," I wailed into his chest.
"Shit!" He said calmly. I gave him a strange look.
"Well you said swear to me," he joked, giggling. Sad.
"Love you Nath. Im gonna miss you baby!" I mumbled, still refusing to let go of him. He didn't reply, his arms just tightened around me.
"Awww look at you two. See, I said you would be cute!" Sally put her hands up in a 'what?' sign.
"Still don't like the fact that she's my sister and she's dating him," Joe muttered. Nathan put his hands on my waist and pulled me away slightly.
"Listen. You'll get over me too. We're gonna be fine. But Im always here," he whispered, eyes red.
"Yeah. Just because Im in America doesn't mean that I'm not just a call away. Goodbye Nathan Sykes, I love you," my croaked voice turned into a whisper, chocking back tears. I hate crying.
"Right back attcha Trouble Barker," he mumbled, connecting our lips one last time before seeing his car.
"Don't go," I whimpered, my eyes blotchy.
"Oh I have an idea!" Nathan spoke loudly, pointing his finger in the air, ignoring my whines.
"Come back to mine. My parents are out and don't come back until midnight. Please," his eyes twinkled.
"Yeah ok. Sure. Just let me say goodbye to Tom, he's been a good friend," I say. Nathan nodded.
I sprinted to Tom.
"Goodbye Thomas Fletcher!" I giggle, giving him a hug. His arms enveloped me in a tight embrace.
"Aw T. Gonna miss ya little sis," he did a baby voice.
No he isn't my brother. But he acts like it.
After saying goodbye properly, I skipped back to Nathan, who was talking to his mate Tom Parker.
"Ready to go, princess?" He smiled, intertwining our fingers.
"Yeah. Come on then, Sykes," I laughed, jogging to my Jeep car. I sat in and started it up. Nathan led me to his house which was massive. I pulled up and got out, to be greeted by his lips. They seemed to move in sync as his hands clutched my waist, drawing me closer to him. He broke to leave a trail down my neck.
"Lets go," he placed his arm around my waist. This felt strangely good. Taking me to his room, he shut the door. My head began to whirl. What was he planning? Nathan put on tfios and led on his bed, chest down, hands and elbows supporting him up. I did the same. My side was pressed against his. His arm was linked with mine. My heart fluttered at his touch.
The film ended, us both sobbing, huddled together. For my first boyfriend, he's pretty cool. I felt his warm lips against my forehead.
"I really can't do this to you," I sighed.
"What?" Nathan looked hurt and confused.
"Leave you. As we are. Nathan, you're a really nice guy. You don't deserve this, America London crap. You don't need it. I-I don't want you to miss me. Well, if you do," I sighed again, my head in my hands. Nathan chewed his bottom lip.
"Trouble. Don't. I don't want you to leave England. But you'll find a guy. I know you will. Lets just carry on, wait, when do you leave?"
"Two days,"
"Well, we'll talk as much as possible. I really love you," he sighed, taking my hands in his.
Before I knew what I was doing, I kissed him. Hard. I lent back onto the bed, pulling him on me. It wasn't long before our tongues got involved. His weight was pressing me down. Oh my god he could kiss. With a groan, Nathan cupped my face in his hands. My hands tugged lightly on his hair, dragging out another groan from him. His phone began to ring.
"Fuck!" he cursed, reluctantly pulling away from me. I frowned disappointedly and sat up.
"Yeah? ok mum. See you then. Bye!" he spat.
"What now?"
"Just a reminder that we shall be back at midnight. See you tomorrow Nathan!" he immitated his mum doing a high pitch, posh voice. I giggled.
"Please teach me how to play Mario," Nathan begged.
"You-You mean. You. Can't. Play. Mario?" I burst out laughing.
"Ive never played it,"
I could of stabbed him. Never played Mario? What? Oh my god he was killing me.
"Oh my god you are so deprived in life. But first, lets put some music on. I feel like dancin'!" I made the rock sign with my hand. Nathan laughed, ninja jumping of the bed and went over to his dock where is iPhone was. He put on something terrible.
"Who the hell is he? Yeash," I shuddered at the horrible, classic/pop music.
"Hey! You leave my Stevie Wonder songs alone!" he gasped as I yanked out his phone, replacing it with my iPod.
"Nathan Sykes, meet my music," I grinned, turning up American Idiot. Nathan looked disgusted.
"DON'T WANNA BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT!" I belted out. That was all I managed before Nathan turned it off.
"Oi, thats ma jam. What you doing you mess?" I glared at him.
"Im turning your "jam" off," he raised his eye brows, making imaginary brackets with his fingers. I snatched my iPod away.
I just about taught him to play Mario before leaving. Forever.
"Goodbye Sykes. Love ya. Skype me or summit. Missing you already!" I grinned, before attaching my arms to him, and bursting into tears.
"Goodbye baby. I love ya too. You'll get over me,"
"Oi! No, we're still Skyping and we'll try long distance. Oh man, I don't know if I can leave you!" I giggled. Nathan wiped my tears with his thumb and placed his lips on mine. I wanted to eat him. Ok that sounds weird. But he shall never forget me. Seriously, I stuck a smily face sticker on his door when he wasn't watching. I drove back home.
