Keith POV
I sat in the hospital wing of the Garrison. I was being checked and patched up from out previous mission.
My eyes were bloodshot because I couldn't stop crying.
For I had lost the love of my life and one of best friends.....Katie Holt.
I haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning when me and Katie woke up and made some toast.
Kosmo was laying down sadly, and making whiny noises.
He missed her too.
I kept looking at the ring I gave her the night I proposed. It was cold........
The coldness made my fingers tingle..... it needed her touch.
Lance and Hunk are doing fine.....but they miss her a lot too.
"Katie...." I whispered to myself as I started to cry again.
"KaTiE..." I sat a little louder.
"KATIE!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs in grief. I was sobbing uncontrollably.
Everyone knew I just needed space, so they gave me space.
Kosmo looked up at me and disappeared in thin air.
"Kosmo?"

Pidge's POV
Darkness.
All I could see was darkness.
With all my energy I opened my eyes. I saw smoke and pieces on droids around me.
How was I still alive?
I had no idea. But I was alive!
I tried moving but my legs were stuck under a heavy piece of metal. I tried screaming for help but it was useless.
No one was here to hear me. I couldn't think of any ways to get out of this mess.
I then feel the necklace on my neck that Keith had gotten me on one of our dates. On it, it said "I love you to the stars and back" -Keith.
It sparkled. It then hit me that this necklace was made from a healing crystal from one of the planets we visited.
It must have saved me.
I tried to move my legs, but the metal was too heavy.
All of a sudden a flash of blue came up in front of me.
"Kosmo?" The space wold tilted his head at me and helped move the metal of my legs. I could finally feel my legs.
I grabbed onto Kosmo and told him "Take us homes." He then teleported us out of that horrible place.
Keith's POV
I was still trying to figure out where Kosmo went but I had my head in my hands, and I was still sobbing.
Then I hear Kosmo teleport back into the room.
I then feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up at see...."KATIE!?"
"Hi Emo boy." She joked.
I got up and hugged her so tight. "I thought you were gone..."I sobbed onto her shoulder.
Her hand gently brushed against my head as she started to stroke my hair. "Never do that again......" I say as I continue to sob.
She backed up from the hug and squatted down to look me in the face. "This is what saved me..." she pulled the necklace I gave her a while back from tat planet we were on.
"It's a healing crystal.....it kept me alive." She said starting to tear up.
I then opened my hand and grabbed her left hand. I then slipped her ring on her finger.
I then grabbed both her hands. "Marry me Katie........we can get married in a couple days......properly say our vows."
She smiled. "I like the sound of that."
She then leaned in as we shared a kiss.
