The landslide zone of the USJ stretched out before Todoroki like a frozen battleground, a chaotic landscape of jagged rocks and sloping terrain. Parts of concrete structures which used to be buildings scattered all around. Buried in the land. A perfect replica of what the wanna be heroes would have to face in the future. The chill of ice lingered in the air, a testament to the power one student in particular wielded. With every step down the slope, he surveyed his surroundings, a path of ice trailing behind him, where low-level villains lay encased like trophies—statues frozen in time, their expressions twisted in fear. As he moved, Todoroki's mind raced with memories, each one a snapshot of the chaos that had unfolded. The moment the League of Villains declared war on All Might echoed in his thoughts, the gravity of their threat hanging over him like a storm cloud.
Todoroki head: The league of villains...They say there goal is to kill All Might. A bold move coming here to take a shot at the number 1 hero.
The purple mist, the villain who had warped them away, the sinister glee in their eyes as they separated students for easier pickings—it all played out like a nightmare on repeat.
Todoroki head: Was there goal to use our class as bait? So he would show up to help? And spread us out so we could be picked off easy? It's a decent plan. Except for one thing...
His focus shifted as Mineta voice broke through the haze of his thoughts.
Mineta: Todoroki, watch out!
The warning came just in time, allowing him to pivot and unleash a blast of ice that encased the oncoming thug. The villain's surprised eyes widened as the frost crept over him, solidifying his defeat.
Todoroki: Thanks, Mineta
Mineta: No problem man. Thanks for dealing with all these guys.
Todoroki head: How do they plan on killing The Symbol of Peace with such weak thugs and low lives?
Todoroki replied, taking a moment to catch his breath. He glanced at the frozen villain, then back at his classmate.
Mineta: Is something wrong Todoroki?
Todoroki: I dont know. I can't help but wonder... if the League of Villains is using these low-level thugs, how do they expect to take down the number 1 hero?
Mineta frowned, a look of concern crossing his face.
Mineta: You think they're underestimating us?
Todoroki: Probably. We are just kids to them. But I think more importantly they're underestimating All Might. Which for as much effort these guys went through to plan this attack out. It doesn't make sense that they would think throwing low level pawns at the king would work.
