[Chapter 14]

Jimin lowered his head even more when the room went silent. Seokjin asked Sungdeuk to cancel his additional practice that night, saying that he wasn't feeling well, when in fact, they were about to have a talk with Jimin and Taehyung.

The two maknae were sitting on the couch, Jungkook on Taehyung's right side and Yoongi on Jimin's left side. Namjoon sat on the single chair with Seokjin who was sitting on the arm rest. Hoseok had pulled a chair from the dining table and placed it on the other side of the big couch, across from Seokjin and Namjoon.

"Taehyungie." Namjoon's voice rang softly in their ears and it was Taehyung's turn to lower his head even more. "Can you tell us clearly what happened?"

Taehyung placed both of his elbows on his knees, trying to stop his feet from bouncing nervously. He felt a smaller hand wrapped around his own hand, squeezing it lightly as he realised that it was Jimin's hand.

"Is it true that you got into a fight with the person that hurt Jimin, Jungkook and Yoongi hyung?" Namjoon asked again, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees.

A hesitant nod came from Taehyung and Namjoon sighed. "Can you tell me what happened?"

Taehyung fiddled with his fingers, trying to form a sentence. He didn't know why he is being nervous all of sudden when he was only trying to protect his best friends and his hyung. But Namjoon sounded so intimidating, no matter how soft and gentle his voice was.

"Taehyungie." Seokjin called him softly, prompting him to talk.

Jimin rubbed a small circle with his thumb on the back of Taehyung's palm, trying to calm his best friend. Taehyung gave him a small smile, before taking a deep breath.

"I-I saw him." Taehyung started. "I saw him wearing that hoodie." And he began to tell them what happened. He told them how he saw him walking on the hallway wearing that hoodie and he immediately pulled him into the restroom. He asked the person about where did he get the hoodie but then that person laughed at him and mocked him.

Taehyung was confused at first, but suddenly the person laughed, saying that he felt satisfied after hurting Jungkook and Yoongi that night. He was furious and hit the person blindly, he couldn't control himself. The fact that it was indeed the same person who wrote the painful letters towards Jimin made his anger built tenfold and he couldn't control himself from attacking the person.

"I-it was J-Jaekyun."

"What?!" Seokjin was surprised at the confession. It was hard for him to believe that Jaekyun was the person because of how kind and polite the younger towards him in their training period, before he got accepted into a pre-debut group.

"B-but why did he-" Seokjin couldn't continue his sentence, too surprised at the confession. Namjoon pulled the oldest onto his laps once he saw Seokjin's body started to tremble.

"He's always jealous at Jimin." Taehyung admitted, looking down at the carpeted floor. "He's always been jealous at Jimin."

"Why?" It was Hoseok's turned to ask, curiousity coated his confusion.

Taehyung took a deep breath and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. "Because Jimin got into a pre-debut group after six months of training, while he already into his second years." Taehyung sighed, closing his eyes, trying to continue in one breath without stuttering. "And he's jealous that Jimin got into the same team as Namjoon hyung and Yoongi hyung."

It wasn't even a question. Namjoon was famous with his ability on making music and lyrics and Yoongi was famous with his venomous rapping skills and his ability on producing a good music. Almost all of the trainee wanted to be in the team with the aces amongst all of them.
