"Where's Hoseok hyung?" Jungkook asked, looking between all of his hyungs.

"On the phone with his mother." Yoongi answered him. Jungkook nodded before a sudden loud exclamation towards them catching their attention.

"You guys looked great!"

They laughed when Jimin's mother ran towards them. They were back at the back of the venue after the MC had announced half an hour break for the judges to discuss.

"Thank you, eomma." Jimin smiled while hugging his mother. His father walked up and patted Namjoon on the back while smiling towards the other members.

"Thank you for the drink, eommonim, we enjoyed it a lot." Seokjin bowed politely towards the woman, the other followed suit.

"The tea was really the best." Taehyung put his thumbs up, smiling his boxy grin.

"Yeah, the honey was sweet and soothing." Namjoon agreed, his dimples sunk deep into his cheek.

"And the milk was also the best." Seokjin added with his charming smile.

Jimin's mother released her hug from around Jimin and placed her hand on his chest, touched at how polite her son's friends were. "No need to say thanks, I'm glad to help you. Jimin's good friends are my kids too."

They laughed at the words, Jimin put his arms over his mother's shoulder affectionately.

"I'm sorry, my mother called me." Hoseok jogged towards them and bowed towards Jimin's parents. The woman complimented the dancer's performance, earning a blushing mess of Hoseok. They laughed at his face, but Yoongi frowned when he saw how forced Hoseok's smile was.

They talked for a while, mostly Jimin's parents complimenting their performance and left red hues all over their faces. The back of the venue was getting more crowded by the visitors of the other performances, and Jimin's parents could not miss the sullen look from his son's band members while looking at the other's performances parents, families and friends.

But they chose not to mention it, wanting to focus on treating them warmly, much to their pleasure. Jimin had told them about how none of his band members' family would be there except his, and truth be told, Jimin's parents could not understand how cruel parents could be to their kids, especially their kids who had been working their asses off for their dreams and trying to make their own path, as to not being too dependent to their parents and ease their work to take care of them.

"After this, we'd like to take you out for dinner." Jimin's mother suddenly spoke up after his husband had finished talking to them, catching them off guard. Jimin smiled at his mother although he couldn't hide the surprised look on his face.

They looked sheepishly at each other, surprised at the sudden information but was hesitant to take it, until Namjoon spoke up, "you don't have to do that, eommonim."

"I want to, right honey?" Jimin's mother asked his husband who nodded in agreement. "And we leave no room for argument."

"But..." Hoseok was hesitant to continue, eyeing his band members nervously. His next words came out small. "It won't be worth it if we don't win."

The woman, bless her heart, smiled at Hoseok and put her hand on his shoulder. "All of you are so worth it." She said, looking at their eyes one by one. "Win or not, you deserve all the love and support that you can get. You've worked very hard, you have to be kind to yourself once in a while."

To say they were touched at the words was an understatement. Jimin could see his best friends' eyes went misty despite the shy smile on their faces. He, too, was feeling all warm inside at his mother's words. After all of the things they had been through, it was safe to say that his mother's words were the nicest and sincerest word they had ever heard.
