"Explain to me what he looks like. I neeed to know!"
"Well he has brown hair.. ummm, today he is wearing a football jersey. That's it I guess." I said.
"Hmm... it might be Carter. Show him to me at lunch."
Wow. The name Carter is pretty different from Eric or Zach. Who cares though, he probably thinks I stalk him. I'll never have a chance with him. Probably not even a chance at being friends.
I couldn't get my mind off of him though. It was weird. I didn't even know his name yet. I tried thinking of other things, but nothing worked. I still had him in my mind.
A few more boring classes went by. Lunch finally came. I walked alone to the cafeteria, Miranda and Kailee saved me a seat by them.
"Hey, I already told Kailee about your crush! So show him to us!" Miranda said with one of the biggest grin on her face.
"Whoa whoa whoa, he is NOT my crush. Ok? I don't even know him. I just... well, cant get him off my mind."
"Uhh, that's what a crush is! It's ok if you like him. Just show him to us like right now!" Kailee said.
I pointed him out to them. He was sitting with a bunch of other jocks that didn't go to my middle school. I'm betting he likes some cheerleader. Like Ashley.
Ashley is the "star" of the cheerleading team. Well, and the popular group too. She has her posse with her wherever she goes. It's literally what you would see in a movie.
"OMG I was right! It IS Carter! You guys would be so cute together!" Miranda said smiling.
I was about to disagree but I stopped myself. Maybe she was right. Maybe we would make a cute couple.
