Billy's car came to a sharpe stop in front of your house, " Thanks for the ride" you said to him getting yourself ready to leave his car.
" No problem sweetheart " He said to you with a slight smirk, you gave him a soft smile before leaving his car walking up the steps into your house.
" Did I literally just see what I thought I saw?" Your uncle asked you as you walked over to him.
" What do you mean?" You asked pouring yourself a glass of water trying to act as sober as you could.
" Billy Hargrove dropping you off " He said as he stumped his cigarette out into the ash tray.
" Yeah, he offered me one. I wasn't technically going to say no it's freezing out there " You said to him as he got up from his seat.
" you stay away from him Cassie, he's bad news.... trouble. We've already had reports on him" He said to you as he walked over to his bedroom.
You nodded your head in reply as you walked off into your bedroom, you started getting ready for bed as the thought of Billy rushed through your mind. You weren't stupid you just had to take one look at him and you knew he was a bad boy.
You had two hours to get to school, you smelt the breakfast cooking through your room, as you tied your dressing down robe as you walked into the kitchen where your uncle Hopper made breakfast.
" You need a lift to school?" He asked you as he fried the bacon.
" Nah I should be good, I think Steve is picking me up " You said as you made your self a glass of coffee, you'd stood there as you blew the hot beverage as you watched Hopper plate up your breakfast. He handed it to you with a cheesy grin as you laughed slightly at him as you took hold of the plate and sat down at the table, Hopper joined you a moment later with his breakfast.
" Eleven pretty pissed at me " He said not making eye contact with you as you took a bite out of the bacon sandwich.
" Why?" You asked your mouth full off food as you chewed it.
" I promised her that I would go over and watch movies and we would eat a load of candy, I was late" he said as you took a sip of coffee raising your eyebrows at him as he looked at you, " Like really late. She came around eventually " he said to you as you took another Bite.
" I don't see why she can't just go out for one day, or if Mike comes to see her-" you started saying but getting cut off by Hopper.
" Cas , you know the rules, you can't ever mention eleven to anyone. If people know about her she's in danger, she could go back to the lab" he said as you sighed at his comment a part of you knew where he was coming from, over the weeks he grew to care for eleven so did you to be honest, you knew he was just trying to keep her safe.
" Alright okay, ill drop it" You said as you took your empty plate and cup to the sink.
It didn't take long for Steve car to start beeping to let yon know he was there, you grabbed your bag as you ran down the steps towards his car.

You sat in your English class, Nancy sat near you that close youse could talk to each other, the teacher was discussing the work what you were about to do. You and Nancy say there and talked about Steve as he wasn't in your English class. You sat there and pulled kissing faces to Nancy as she laughed slightly.
" Miss Hopper " you teacher shouted making you jump out of your skin a bit, " Care to explain what's so amusing?"
You looked down biting the top of your pen, " Nothing miss I was just...umm" you began to say when she let out a long sigh.
" Cassie , collect your things. Make your way to the back of the classroom " She said to you as you stood up placing your books in your bag and grabbing your pens and pencils in the other hand you walked towards the empty desk in the back of the connor.
You sat down and looked around to see one person missing from the row of four, you knew the seat what you were sat in was always left free. A few more minutes later the sound of the classroom door flew open, as the teacher looked at the student who was walking in.
" Mr Hargrove, Joining us 25 minutes late, take a seat I don't have time to listen to your excuse" the teacher said as she continued to teach the lesson, your eyes slowly looked up seeing from the side of your eye the figure of Billy walk over to the desk next to you and sit down. You felt your hands get sweaty and your chest tighten slightly, you hated feeling like this it was like you were 12 years old again and you were experiencing your first crush.
" Don't you normally sit further down there " Billy asked you licking over his teeth slightly as you turned your head to look at him.
" Yeah I got moved " you said as you write a few notes down in your notepad, for the next five minutes of your teacher talking about your last test you felt Billy's eyes on you the whole time, you tried your best not to look back at him.
Your teacher put your marked test back on your paper, you were rather smart. You just were you couldn't help it, you weren't as much of a sweat as Nancy you didn't study as much, you were Just a naturally smart person. The test read A+ the teacher put down Billy's test on his tablet as she placed one hand on her hip and let out a frustrated sigh, " This is the fourth test you have failed, are you even trying?" She asked him.
Billy didn't say anything, you didn't want to look over at the scene so you just continued to listen, " I think you should consider maybe getting someone to tutor you" Your teacher said to billy " Cassie is a bright student why don't you ask her "
You instantly snapped your head towards them " what " you said towards your teacher and Billy.
" I'm going to pair you two up for your next assignment, Billy if I were you I would use this wisely this is 75% of your final grade " she said to him seriously as she walked away.
" So what did you get on the test then?" He asked as you didn't have time for a reply as he already grabbed your paper and read the score " Huh, smart arse " he said passing it back to you.
" How much did you revise then?" He asked you as you looked over at him tucking the strand of hair behind your ear.
" I um didn't really, I just re read some notes before it " You said to him as he looked at you for a few seconds with out saying anything.
" So your just one of them naturally smart people then?" He asked you as you nodded at him smiling down.
" Your quite shy aren't you?" He said this time with a bit of a grin, You glared over at him frowning your eyebrows.
" I'm not shy, we're just in the middle of a lesson " You hissed at him then looking back towards the teacher.
