You walked down the corridors of your high school thinking about the fact that you had to work with Billy for you English assignment a part of you dreaded this, what if he didn't care and left it all up to you? But then a part of you was excited because you deep down kinda did want to work with him, you couldn't help it he was good looking, popular you knew nothing about him.
You had heard some rumours about him being a dick and taking over Steve's place as " king of Hawkins" , it was no lie that he was the talk of the town, Nancy didn't really talk about him that much other than he heard he's trouble but Carol and the other girls don't shut up about him on how good looking he is or what he had done, But you still knew nothing about him as a person.
You opened up your locker door placing your books in your locker when the door was shut half way, you looked up to have your eyes met Billy's, " What are you doing here?" You asked him as he smirked down at you.
" So were study partners now, this project seems pretty important 75%" He started of saying as you shook your head in response, " When do you want to work and where?" He asked you.
" Ummm I don't mind, I can do tomorrow, or Thursday " You said as he smiled down at you and hummed slightly looking at you, he adjusted his stand.
" What about tonight?" He asked you as you know places your bag back over your shoulder.
" Oh um, yeah I'm not doing anything " you said to him as you began to walk down the school as billy followed.
" What about your place?" He asked you as you knew Hopper was seeing eleven tonight he would be there til around midnight so it wasn't a problem.
" Okay yeah that's fine, wait you know where I live so just come when you want" you said to him as you went to walk into the car park as he still followed you.
He grabbed a hold of your wrist making you look at him, " I just need to drop my sister max off at home and then I'll be straight over" he said to you as you nodded your head.
" I see you then" you said to him as you both walked your separate ways, you saw Jonathan walking as he offered you a lift home, he asked why you and billy were talking to each other as you explained you had to work with him for your English project. The rest of the ride home you and Jonathan discussed will as he told you about his now visions.
" Thanks for the lift home, your a real life saver" you said to him.
" No problem, you want picking up in the morning for school ?" He asked you as you got out the car.
" Yeah please, that would be great " you said before slamming the door shut, you walked up the steps as you unlocked the front door to see a note what Hopper had left you, " been shopping food in cubords, be back at midnight" you walked into your bedroom as you took your shoes and coat off , you changed out of your outfit into something more comfy. You tied your hair up into a ponytail as you made yourself something to eat quickly and made up self some coffee. You sat there watching for a tv waiting for billy to come when there was a knock at the door 10 minutes later.
You opened the door to see billy stood there "come in" you said as you opened the door more so he could walk in.
" So where we doing work?" He asked as you started walking towards your room as he followed you, you opened the door as you walked into your room, " Aww this is cute, this your room?" He asked you grinning at your bedroom.
" Yeah it is now shut up" you said jokingly as you sat on your bed as he soon sat down next to you. " Okay so for the first task we need to analyse and explain the question what it asks about" you said as billy looked lost into you eyes.
" What question " He asked you as you pointed to the question in the book as he read it and made a Oh sound.
" So what do we need to do" He asked as you looked at him.
" we need to analyse and explain our point " you said to him as he frowned his eyebrows.
" What's our point?" He asked as you laughed at him slightly, you knew he couldn't help not understanding what to do but it was kinda cute.

You and Billy came up with ideas , you helped him adapt the ideas he came up with, you knew he was trying but it was clear that he wasn't the smartest. You looked over at the time as it read 10.36pm, Billy must of you noticed you looking at the clock as he looked over to you.
" are you wanting me to go now?" He asked you as you instantly looked back over at him.
" What no?i was only looking at the time, I don't mind what time you leave just needs to be before midnight " You said as you stood up and wrapped your dressing gown around you.
" What that when you mom and dad come back home?" He asked as you looked down not knowing what to say to that, he didn't know it wasn't his fault.
" No my uncle , I don't live with my parents" you said waking over to your mirror as you started to wipe off today's makeup.
" How come?" He asked as you tensed up as his question, you cleared your throat as you looked over at him.
" I was 11 , they were driving to my friends house to pick me up, it was in the winter and driving back home my the car skidded and we crashed over the bridge into the river, my dad got me out first and went back for my mam and they never made they just of lost air or drowned before making it back up" you said to him as he just looked at you.
" I'm sorry I didn't realise that" he began as you gave him a smile, " no no it's fine you didn't know about it" You said to him.
