Z975 (ON HOLD)

Chapter 12

     I didn't have any dreams last night. It was weird not having any , but kind of refreshing too. It was 7:34  ,and school started at 7:40. I didn't freak out because I didn't have enough time to do my makeup or anything. I just put on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, put on my sneakers, and put my blonde hair in a pony tail.

     I made sure I had my phone and the flower in my bag and headed out to the kitchen. Mom and Gina wasn't there. Mom had taken Gina early to finish some assignment or something. Dad was sitting there waiting for me I think.

    " Hey Dad," I said taking a seat across from him.

    " Hello Z975," he replied. " Here is your nutrition pills I put them in a container , so that you would have enough for the week,". He handed me a bottle with blue pills. They are usually orange.

    " Hey dad ?," I asked. " Can I have the orange ones instead? I don't like these blue pills they taste disgusting,".

     " No," he said in a stern voice.

     " But dad..," I started to say.

     " I said no I mean now," he said getting up. " I have to be going and you need to be going to school. I love you honey,"

     " I love you you to,". After he left I ran into dad's office.

      I looked around for them. I opened the doors to the cabinets ,and l in. There were thousands of books. I scanned the items in there when my eyes saw this big , old book in there. I pick it up it was all dusty. I blew the dust off ,and opened it. The pages weren't moveable , and in the center was a square hole cut in ,and in that hole laid the pill bottle. Bingo.

        I didn't take all of them I just took a few so he wouldn't notice , and put them in with the orange pills. I put the book back in ,and closed the cabinets. I ran out of the house ,and headed for school.

      " Well?" Claire asked me.

      " I bet she didn't do it," Dana said.

      " I'll take that bet," I said , and brought out the flower ,and showed them them the picture. They stood there staring at the photo with their mouths wide open. Claire , after standing there like an idiot, whispered something to Dana  and Melissa.

      "Wow you got guts girl," Claire said and she walked over to me , and put her arm over my shoulder.             

      " Thanks?" I was very perturbed at this.

      " Doing something like that might get you in with us," she said,but what she was doing is like taunting a child with candy.

       " Um thanks , but no thanks," I said.

      " Come on you'll be the talk of the town," she said. Little did I know that she was right
