I barely slept at all that night, worried that Y/n would take advantage of my sleeping state and run for it. However, this ended up not being the case.

As the sun rose and sent a soft hue of gold through the thin white curtains, my heavy eyes were threatening to close. I had bags under my eyes anyway from countless all-nighters working, so at this point I can't imagine how dark they'd look.

I peer down at Y/n and see her mumbling and murmuring slightly in her sleep, moving further away from me as she fidgets. I gently slide my hand under her waist and curl my arm around, pulling her closer to my body.

This is how I wanted it to be. I wanted her to be close to me and only me. I'm surprised I'm not jealous that her soft skin is in contact with the sofa.

I lean back and rest my head on the top of the sofa, staring up at the ceiling. I wonder if Y/n is scared of me now. I suppose I'm quite protective... right?

Okay, very protective. I would say that the origins of these emotions are unknown, but there's a chance that it's because I was scared to lose anyone else I loved after I lost Saeran- my brother- he completely disappeared one day... I mean he could be dead right now, God knows. But I still have hope that he's out there.

For now, however, all that matters is the girl in my arms. Her tears had dried and she looked much more relaxed now, her eyes closed and mouth slightly parted, the sound of her soft breathing like music to my ears.

I lean down, a little hesitant, but continue to gently press a kiss to her forehead, brushing her hair out of her face with my fingertips, grazing the surface of her skin.

I wonder if I could wake her up somehow,  maybe with a kiss on the lips- like Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. That's what she is to me right now- my princess. And I wanted to be her prince, saving her from the villains.

In my eyes, that would be Zen. I knew he had a thing for her the moment she joined the RFA, but so did I. I wasn't going to let some narcissistic freak use his fame to take advantage of her. I reach over to my phone and open the chatroom, seeing it already populated with the majority of the members.
