I wanted nothing more than to leave this house- it was a prison.
Seven had tried to give me entertainment, such as video games, but deep down I knew that this was just not right. If I spent another day in this house I was going to go insane. The only problem is, someone had already turned insane- Seven.
Every time he came close I'd flinch in fear of what personality I'd have to face, and my mind always drifted to assuming the worst when I wondered how the RFA were doing. In particular, Zen. I held out my hopes, believing that maybe- just maybe- he'd come and save me, but I guess I'm just short on luck.
"Princess, where are you?" Seven's voice called from another room, his footsteps nearby.
I hugged the soft blanket I was holding closer to my body to try and regulate my body temperature, the house was cold, it was as if there were ghosts always looming over my shoulders, the embodiment of Seven's dark personality- both of which sent goosebumps crawling up my arms.
"Here." I replied in a weak voice.
Seven smiled as he approached me, it was kind and sincere, and for a moment it really almost fooled me. I couldn't let myself forget the monster Seven was the night at my apartment.
Crouching in front of me, he spoke quietly, "I've got to go out to do some shopping, will you be okay alone for a little bit?" He places a hand on my chin, softly raising my head to bring my eyes level with his.
I nod. As if I had the choice to say no.
He stood up again and furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at my blanket-wrapped body, "are you cold?"
"It's fine, don't worry," I move my gaze to the floor.
Suddenly, his voice was stern, "That's not good enough." Seven furiously began to remove his jacket, "You have to tell me when something is wrong. If you don't it makes me feel like a bad person, I'm not a bad person..." he wraps the jacket around my shoulders, his temper as hot as his fiery hair, "...I've given you a home and a safe life with me. Say it, say I'm a good person!"
My throat tightens and for a moment I struggle for words. I was never a good liar, but somehow I managed say aloud the biggest lie of all, "you... you're... you're a good person. Thank you."
"I'm so happy you think so, princess. I'll be back soon." He softly kisses my forehead, grabbing a different jacket, a grey one, and leaving through the heavily secured front door.
Wrapped in the Seven-scented jacket, it made me a little sick that I found a sense of comfort in the warmth. Somebody who was so aggressive yet caring for me made me feel a mixture of conflicting feelings, but with the discovery that the majority were negative I knew I couldn't just sit and wait to be rescued.
I threw Seven's jacket to the side, my exposed legs just able to carry me across the cool stone floor to Seven's computer.
It was still logged in. I searched on his files for the RFA app and found it quickly, hoping and praying that I'd be able to message though this version. And... viola, it worked.
