Soon enough, it was 6pm. I had brought Y/n food and drink during the day to make sure that she wasn't hungry, however I couldn't help but notice her slight impatience with me delaying her plans to travel back to her own apartment.

"Seven, my head feels fine now... I think-"

"No, no! You don't understand, I'm caring for you- I have everything you need right here- you'll never be unsafe," I sit beside her on the bed and reassuringly grab her hands, but she pulls them away.

"I... I appreciate it, I really do, but I just," she sighs, looking away, "I just don't feel safe around you."

I look away from her and at the wall, slouching down and lowering my head, "...I see."

She stands up, "I'll make my way back."

My eyes widen, and I bolt up, I couldn't let her leave, not now- not yet. I grab her waist and pin her against the wall, one hand behind her head as to make sure that she didn't hit it on the wall, "I can really protect you here, Y/n. My heart... it beats so fast when you're here, I'm sometimes worried it will leap right out of my chest. I love you. I can't leave you."

Y/n blushes a little, looking away from my eyes, but then looking back, "if... you insist."

I smile, and she weakly smiles back, "I'm glad~" I whisper to her, before leaning in to kiss her on the lips, and to my joy, she kisses back.

It's a thousand times better than what they say in the movies- it's not like the harsh bang of fireworks, but rather the magical twinkling colours that follow it, an explosion of butterflies that make your heart beat as quick as their little fluttering wings. I wanted the moment to last forever.

I slowly, and reluctantly, pulled away from the kiss, opening my eyes, to look into her own e/c ones. They seemed to sparkle a little bit as well, which only encouraged me to do more.

I bent my head down and kissed her neck, to which she moved her head to the side, allowing more access, but I quickly stepped away from her.

"I can't... this would be too far, I wouldn't be able to control myself," I lift my hand up to cover my burning red cheeks, she was too much for me to handle- beauty and all. It took my breath away how even the simple little things like blinking could make me fall for her even more. "I've ordered some things for you online. If you need anything use the laptop and add it to the basket, I'll buy it for you. Anything."

She smiled a little, "that's too nice of you, can't I just go back to my apartment and visit here regularly? I miss my bed... and my-"

"No." I cut her off, "everything you need will be here- I'll... I'll even decorate this room to be an exact replica of the one at your apartment if you want. You're my princess, I'll do anything for you, except let you leave," I spoke in a slightly sterner voice, "understand?"

She nodded, and sat back down on the bed. I knew just the thing to make her happy, before I'd have never dreamt of doing it, but now she's all I dream of anyway- she's all I have to lose, and I swear, I will not lose her. No matter what it takes.
