I woke up to the sun's rays in my eyes, I struggled to get up at first because I don't usually sleep on the ground, my back to a tree. I looked around for a bit and noticed that Wendy was gone. "That little piece of-" I thought to myself while getting up and stretching my back. I noticed something that was on my Hoodie, it was a piece of paper or is it papyrus? I picked it up and read it.

"Good morning Engi, the camp is to the right of you, by the way, be careful" ~Wendy

I didn't know why she didn't just wait for me to wake up, but I have to go find her.

A few minutes later

After walking for a little bit, I saw something that looked like a drying rack. After I got up close to it and examined it, I looked around and saw several cooking pots, several chests, a fire pit, some sort of weird-looking machine, and a...fridge?

"Wow, this camp has a lot of stuff." I said to myself. While I was looking around the camp I was wondering where a certain someone wa- "Glad you like it, you're going to be staying he-" "AH!" I screamed and jumped forward from the voice behind me, which I soon realized it was Wendy.

"Jeez Wendy, you almost gave me a heart attack..." I said while catching my breath from the scare.

"I'd say a heart attack is preferable than what awaits you in this world" she said with no emotion on her face. Wendy is pretty strange to me, she almost shows no emotion and always shows a blank face and nothing else.

She showed me around the camp and I saw some pretty cool stuff like her own farm, some machine with a top hat on it, and some sort of lighting bolt looking...thing. "This is pretty cool Wendy, I'm surprised you build all this." I said while patting her on the back complimenting her, when I said that she looked down at the ground while walking away from me.

Maybe she felt uncomfortable about me patting her on the back.

"What's wrong Wendy?"
"Nothing-Nothing's wrong" Wendy responded in a sad tone.
"I'm going to make us some food, you're probably starving." she said while walking away back to the fire pit. After she left I looked around some more and remembered I saw some stones behind a few bushes I saw earlier. I went back there and looked behind the bushes hiding them, and what I saw was shocking...

I saw eleven gravestones with each of them with a name and some sort of quote engraved in them. I took the time to read all of them.

Wilson: "I will conquer this world with the power of my MIND!"

Willow: "Things are so much prettier when they burn."

Wolfgang: "I am mighty! No one is mightier!"

WX-78: "EMPATHY MODULE NOT RESPONDING"

WickerBottom: "Shhhh! No talking!"

Woodie: "That's a nice lookin' tree, eh?"

Wes: "..."

Wigfrid: "All the wörld's a stage. För me!"

Maxwell: "Freedom suits me."

Winona: "Anything can be fixed with hard work and elbow grease."

Webber: "We're always together, and never alone!"

I couldn't believe that there's soo many graves out, who were all these people. I decided it would be a good idea to head back where Wendy was and see what she was doing with the food. All these people must've dead around her and now she's the only one, letting her see this again just because I'm here isn't good. I then stood up and turned around getting ready to go back to Wendy, but she was standing right in front of me. It...looks like shes about to cry.

"Wendy...I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have wandered off just for you to get reminded of this." She just looked at the ground, standing in silence. I walked over to her and put my arm over her shoulder and hugged her, she was startled at first but soon she didn't mind.
"Hey...Don't worry Wendy, I'll stay with ya as long as a can, so you won't be alone anymore, ok?" I said as I playfully shook her with my arm around her. She perked her head up and looked at me, looks like she's not sad anymore.
"Thank you Engi, that means...a lot"
"No problem" I respond back.

After a while, Wendy gestured to be let go from the hug and I complied. She walked back to the fire pit and I followed her. She started the fire and went to the crockpot to cook something. I can feel myself getting closer to Wendy, I know she has a kind heart.

And I wanna try my best to make her happy.
