"Welp, are we ready?" I nervously asked Wendy

"Yes, looks like we got everything we need"

It was a few days after that hound attack and I recovered pretty quickly. Now that I have, Wendy wants me to go with her out to this dangerous world and learn more about it.

Which now that I think about it. She's just trying to teach me how to be safe in this world. Or is she using me for bait...

"So, where are we going?"

Wendy: "We're going to explore different biomes so you can know what useful things are in them."

"Oh, so like food and other things."

Wendy: "Right." she says while pulling out a self-made map.

"Alright, lead the way."

It's been a few minutes since we left camp and I've seen some cool stuff. Like some weird looking rabbit with antlers, some giant pig-like people, and some "Beefalo". Later on, we walked by a biome with some purple ground and was curious about what it was.

"Hey Wendy, what's that biome over there?" I say while pointing at the purple ground.

Wendy: "That's called the swamp, it's the deadliest biome in this world." She responded

"The swamp huh? Are there any ogres in there?" I say in a joking manner.

Wendy: "No, just merman, spiders, mosquitoes, and worst of all tentacles with teeth that can cut through flesh like paper." She said in a serious manner.

"Oh...um, I was joking when I said that."

Wendy: "Well I wasn't..."

...

After an awkward silence, we continued moving forward.

Night falls and we set up a fire and start eating, after finishing some meatballs I start to talk about some things with Wendy to get to know her better.

"So umm, how old are you?"

Wendy: "Well, I think I'm around 15 now."

"Oh, the same age as me. Um, what kind of things are you into?"

Wendy: "Mostly poetry"

"Did you ever have any other friends before coming here?"

Wendy: "No, I and my sister usually keep each other company."

"Alright, what was it like back home?"

Wendy: "Hmm." She pauses for a moment. "I can't seem to remember all that well, what about you?"

"Well I...umm, I was, my home is..."
I couldn't remember, I've been here for at least a week or two. How can I forget already?

Wendy: "You can't remember as well? Maybe it has something to do with the world."

"Yeah, maybe..."

After some silence, I remembered that Wendy has that red flower. She said it was Abigail or something.

"Hey whatever happened to that red flower of yours? You said it was a momento of your sister right?"

Wendy: "Yes it is." as she says this, she takes out the flower and places it on the ground.

The flower starts to float slightly above the ground and has a small glow to it. I get a little startled by this.

Wendy: "There's nothing to be afraid of."

"I'm not afraid. I was just shocked that a flower can do, that..."

Wendy: "I just need to teach her how to play."

"What?" I didn't know what she meant by this.

Wendy looks around the lit area around the campfire and sees a sleeping bird.

"Perfect" she said quietly.

She slowly got up and picked up her spear, then walked up to the sleeping bird and stabbed the point of the spear through it.

At first I thought she did that for more food, but when she held her head in pain. I knew something else was up.

"Wendy are you ok?"

I was getting ready to walk over to her but I was distracted by the flower rising up farther of the ground. The flower was blooming and a white glow came out of it.
The white glow took the shape of a body. Once it took full form, it looked a lot like Wendy, down to her clothes, Pigtails, and everything.

"Engi, meet my twin sister: Abigail"
